Hell, given the way the airlines have been lately I bet the broom would be a much better experience, and less likely to leave you stranded!
My last flight ORD-DEN was 2+ hr's on the tarmac, return to gate and deplane, and reload. Total 4 hour delay. Sucks sitting in FC and Club for 4 hours. LOL. Had it not been a full 777 they probably would have just cancelled it. Started with an 'IT issue" so no clearance to take off basically.
