2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I did email him once but no response. I have mixed feelings about continuing to try. I think there is only so much he could say or do. If the issue is the faulty ECM, as I suspect, I think they are likely finishing the regular production run for 22 model year before addressing it.
They have to get the ECU's from Cummins so not sure what that status is as they haven't been in the shop for awhile.

Hell yeah buddy. Now you are neck and neck with me and I was built on Sept. 2.
Mine was built on 9/2 also. Original eta 10/23 bumped up to 10/16 two weeks ago ( destination central Ohio) no movement, no updates. Have called customer service 3 times they cant tell me anything. Said ask the dealer, the dealer only sees what i see. I ask who can tell me whats going on? Crickets. **** happens & i am patient, however communication is key. Wtf! Is there a schedular somewhere ? Something? My interest rate is only locked in for 30 days ( till 9/22) i need this truck for buisness.

Today I checked with the dealer (in AK) that mine is being delivered to. (I ordered it through Military Auto Source and they use Ram dealer network).
Anyway, it's still in MX but they did have a est. delivery date of 11/17/22, finally!
Ordered around March, built (in KZLD) since 7/5/22.

As we know, this can change easier than the wind direction these days but wanted to share the info.

For comparison and curiosity sake...
On this dealer's website I noticed they had over a dozen 2500's "in transit" so I asked him to plug in one of those VIN's to see what delivery date came up, to gauge if there may be an earlier delivery... unfortunately the delivery dates did not populate for those so I suspect they'll be considerably later.
It's crazy to me that there will be people taking delivery of '22 model trucks that late in the year. In an industry that has historically been moving the following model year products well before the actual year they are claimed to be. The days of buying a '23 in OCT/NOV/DEC of '22 are long gone.

Its funny you mention that i was thinking the same thing yesterday. Usually i always put my orders in early august after our annual month trip to the lake after seeing the new trucks/campers id get all horned up for somthing shiney and new. Id be driving the next years model by the end of october. Built and delivered to canada in 2 best case, 3 months max.

Now i bet ill be lucky to be driving my 22 by december even though it was built 9/1

Not sure if this will help anyone or just provide a realistic time frame for reference. My truck left MX on the 26th, was on a train rolling to eagle pass TX on the 28th, Cleared customs on 01 oct. and went to SAIT, then to Kirby Tx as of today 07 Oct. That is about 150 miles in 10 days. The truck is headed to Atlanta in the southeast so this may not be relevant to everyone. Delivery date has slipped from the 13th to 21-28. With the 28th being what I was told to expect all along. This seems to be slow, but after watching videos on how freight is moved on trains; I think this in normal and should speed up once it leaves Kirby. I am getting my updates straight form Mike McDonald at RAM, via email every couple days. Hope this helps someone.

Probably why most trucks going that way were on a ship.

That could be why GM just released the '24 HD trucks. They need to start taking orders now if they're gonna deliver on time for Q4 of' 23

192 days since ordered, truck arrived today at the dealership. Found out about it on the tracker. Went to dealership after it had closed. Yep, truck finally arrived but with a gouge and yellow paint on the passenger side dually fender (entire length). Go figure. Hopefully they will get it fixed before we leave for 4 months November 1. Welcome to my world.

Got a call from my dealer yesterday. My truck arrived and was offloaded in the Phoenix area. Dealer was looking to see if he had any others coming his way before shipping mine. He said I should have it next week!
Do you know how long it took once it was shipped to arrive in the Phoenix area I’m asking because I have one inbound myself. I realize that it can vary significantly from train to train just looking for a general idea.

Bit by the rail car, that sucks.

I would say it varies more by the yard and the truck taking to the dealer.
