I ordered in 9-22 and the order number is almost 19,000 different than yours.I got a VIN assigned today. View attachment 44836
I had to cancel my original order that was done on September 19 due to an issue with the trailer view surround camera. My new order was done on September 27, and the order number difference is almost 445,000 difference. I can't imagine that all of those orders are specific to Ram.I ordered in 9-22 and the order number is almost 19,000 different than yours.
Does anyone here think it’s possible Ram is getting almost 5000 orders a day before the system is live online?
I saw the 2023 Ram 4500/5500 builds start 11/1/22.When is the Build “start date” for all of these 2023 HDs ? Asking for a friend
What about 2500/3500???I saw the 2023 Ram 4500/5500 builds start 11/1/22.
Same, 11/1/22. I got this link from another forum. Here is where I’m getting this info from. https://www.donlen.com/manufacturer...-trucks-build-out-final-order-start-up-dates/What about 2500/3500???

Great question. There is another thread setup where people can enter their order info and a spreadsheet is generated. There is only a few people who have entered their info. So the more that do this the better we will have an idea of what's waiting.Agreed. I wonder where all of us will be in line considering most will wait until they can order online.
Done! It doesn't show my order having Night edition on that spreadsheet but that doesn't matter much.Great question. Here is a link to that thread @OfficerDirtySanchez setup.

2023 HD Crowdsourced Order Tracking & Waiting Room
This thread is for discussion of the (enhanced!) 2023 Crowdsource Tracking Sheet and status updates on orders. The new sheet has been more fully automated meaning I should have the time to hang out even though I’m not personally ordering a 2023 truck. To participate: Add your order info...hdrams.com
Awesome. Welcome to the spreadsheet. Lol. I also had the same Night edition issues but @OfficerDirtySanchez was able to fix it. Probably just a coding thing.Done! It doesn't show my order having Night edition on that spreadsheet but that doesn't matter much.
Once they start production, you’ll find out that you don’t really have a “place in line” so to speak (as far as when your order was placed).Agreed. I wonder where all of us will be in line considering most will wait until they can order online.
Probably the best advice I could tell anybody that orders a truck in these times- don’t make any plans where the ordered truck is an absolute necessity in the next 8 months. Because you’ll see a lot of posts like, “the dealer told me 12 weeks, and it’s been 4 months and now I have to cancel our camping trip”.
No clue. Couldn’t even guess because transport is so unpredictable right now. Once they’re unloaded from rail cars at hubs, they still need to be taken by transport truck to the dealers, and there’s a severe shortage of transport truck drivers. So much so, that Stellantis is asking any employees if they want to take a leave of absence to get their CDL and transport for Cassen. So if they start production in November, when do you think the first ones will roll onto the dealer lots?
