2023 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Totally agree, I ordered a 23 Limited Night Edition today and the OWL on those tires throws the whole look off.
I asked if they could mount the tires so the white walls would be facing inboard and they said it would be an extra $250 lol

That’s ridiculous. A couple years back, they would have been happy too. But now, since non one “sells” the cars anymore…ugh

I'l ask again when I fly in to pick the rig up. I have a tire mount and balancer so I could DIY to save the $250.

Is there any way to find out how many 2023's have been ordered?

Hello all. Ordered a 3500 Larmie 8ft DRW. I am being told they are not being built with Level 2 or the 5th wheel/goose prep right now due to parts availability. Anyone else been told the same?

Well as feared, I had to re-order the truck with out the trailer surround camera option . Hopefully there wont be any other options that drop off now.

I re-ordered a 3500 Laramie 6.4 bed, SRW today and the dealer wasn't aware of any parts issues. So not sure if the difference is SRW or DRW

Hey guys, new to the forum and excited to get thru this truck ordering process. I ordered my 5500 Sept. 15th and have YET to be issued a VIN. Just have my VON number I check the Ram Site few times a day. Anyways. Here is my order sheet. Just hoping to get the truck in 3-4 months or sooner!!!

Ordered a 23 3500 HO longhorn mega cab last Wednesday. I have not received any emails yet. I was wondering how long it took to get an VON? Thanks.

I was issued a VON number from my dealership when I ordered my truck. It was on my order sheet.

Sandi at MD was able to give me my VON about 3 to 4 hours after I placed the order and I reached out again on day five and was able to get my Vin number.

Better off purchasing a limited.

2 thoughts:

They’re trying to separate trim levels more.

They still aren’t recovered from the shortage so they’re supplying limiteds first with the tech.

was told by MD that the Laramie's wont have ventilated seats in either config (center seat vs console).... wow...

and then if I go limited, no 6.4. Getting disappointed here.

Really? I just placed an order with my dealer today and they went up the chain at Stellantis and they stated the bucket seats on the Laramie's would be ventilated.

I also heard that besides the "trailer surround view camera" option, everything else was available.

I didn't realize orders had started yet. I was excited to order a 2023 Longhorn. I regretted selling my 2019 every since trading it on a 2021 1500. But looking through this thread it seems I'll just wait until the ordering and options availability gets better. Glad I came across the thread before calling my dealer.
