Im looking at getting a new truck as my 2022 F350 was stolen. We are going to be getting a 5th wheel and it got me looking at the ram. I had a 2020 Ram 3500 srw which I liked but it did ride much harder. I only had the F350 for 4 months but it rode much softer and much less bounce. This time around im looking at the mega cab though so im hoping it ride better. I know many on here have had both trucks and wanted to hear thoughts on it. I do like that ram went away from the cp4 and i loved cummins and aisin combo. We only t
Traded in the ram due to having a coolent leak from the factory and that smell never really went away. Thanks in advance.
 
My 2020 with supplemental air rides great. CCLB Limited 4x4 HO (see sig)

Empty, I run the rear tire pressure down to around 45-50psi (Falken A/TW3).
 
Ride comfort is pretty subjective and you will see opinions that run the full spectrum of rough to smooth. So my 1 data point (opinion) for your consideration is my 22 3500 CC LB SRW Laramie with factory air rides significantly smoother than my 13 2500 CC LB did. No comparison, not even close.
 
I feel your pain. I just had my 22 F250 stolen after two months. Just ordered a 3500 HO mega cab with the rear air suspension.
 
On the fords, you can use channel locks to open the drivers door. They cut the wire for the horn so no sound. They pull out the gps and can start the truck in about 2 mins. Rams from what I read are harder to break in but once in they can be started just as easy.
 
Fords were always a piece of cake and appears they still are. A long time ago I locked the keys in my F250 work truck, pulled on the top drivers door corner with my fingers, stuck a broomstick in and pushed the unlock doors button.

Don't even need a broomstick - on the older trucks they would walk up, unscrew the antenna and use it to push the unlock button.

I had a 2012 2500 CC SB and my 2018 F-350 CC SB rode way, way better. I now have a 2019 CC LB dually with the rear air suspension and I'd say it rides a bit better than the Ford did. It is a bit harsher when you hit a large bump or hole but on everything else, it is a better.
