Build time

That's not true in my case. Mine was D for months and shows Scheduled on the Mopar Tracker. And even though I got notified recently mine had moved to D1 with an est ship date of 8/18, nothing has changed on the tracking site. Everything is still TBD.
I’m in the exact date/time situation with you. Fingers crossed for the 18th. Hopefully that date won’t bounce around.

Seems like the tracker doesn't show this.
When I got an e-mail telling me that my truck is now in "scheduled", I replied and asked if they had an estimate build date. They replied and said it's scheduled to be built either the last week of August or the first of September.
That's good enough for an estimate for me.

The tracker won't show a ship date until after production. The est ship date that is acquired from your dealer should be close to the date that your truck goes into production. That is subject to be moved though. For me, my truck was built on the very day of the est ship date. Then once it was completed, I briefly had an est ship date in the tracker but it disappeared within 24 hour and went to TBD. It ended up shipping about 3 days before that date. It then gave me an est delivery date. Delivery ended up beating that date by about 2 weeks. Good luck, hope this helps.

Hey everyone,

If you're experiencing a longer than average wait time for your build, we'd be happy to look into this for you. Please send us a direct message if you're interested.

get ready for all the messages...may want to clarify what is considered to be "average wait time"...in all seriousness, thanks for offering the support

My 2500 started build 8/16, completed 8/17 just got est delivery date of 10/16 2 days ago. Guess it's still a wait and see game

Ordered a 5500 laramie on 6/6, and was built/released on 9/1. Just waiting for a train ride now. Hoping to see/hear an estimated delivery date one of these days soon. But! Ram dosent allow us canadians to use the tracker so its difficult to get updates without sounding desperate to BV or dealer. At the end of the day iam actually pretty happy with the timelines so far considering the state of things nowadays. However if it sits in mexico for months thatll be a different story.

Good thing the railroad strike was averted - for now.

Honestly i discussed that with my dealer when ordering as i knew some guys were sitting for months waiting for a train ride. I said i dont mind a month maximum, but if iam paying 3000$ for destination fees i aint sitting for 2-3 months. So they were prepared to send a truck down for mine worst case scenerio. And i would make up the remainder of cost ontop of the 3000$ for the hot shot. I dont blame ram at all, i can only imagine the cluster to get that many trucks shipped. But iam also not losing out on my trade in value even though it was locked for 6 months

Anyone have an idea on delivery/ build time. I ordered 3500 diesel dually april 1st. Dealership has no idea. If anyone git theirs in recently, how long did it take? Thanks in advance.
Update: ordered April 1,2022 build started Aug 17 completed Sept 2. Est delivery end of Oct. 3500 crew cab dually HO diesel

Destination fee for mine is $1795. I assumed that was the same for all HD's.

Good luck on your side deal to have someone drive to Mexico and pick up the truck for you. Let us know if it works out. Personally, I'd be shocked if it happens.
