2022 HD Crowdsourced VIN/Order Tracking

Feels weird being at this point, but happy nonetheless. The window sticker is up and available and now the shipping dilemma begins ;-)
yet the tracker still shows "in production" - putting this here for posterity and reference ;-)

It is weird. Tracker shows mine built but, no Window Sticker available.

I had 4 days between the equipment list and the window sticker, JB was quick on this one. so hopefully Monday or Tuesday yours will come up. Your list shows available on the spreadsheet on 9/2/22.

It must be a huge effort to maintain this spreadsheet but to what end? The tracker has all the most up to date individual information available to users while the spreadsheet is a historical perspective/tabulation only. What I would like to know is how the dealers access the most specific and up to date information. The secret code and site only available to 007 agents of RAM.

I know when i shoot my dealer a text she usually says “yep one minute!” And within 5 minutes or less she has an answer. So they must be able to log in and see somthing relatively quickly. Last time i chatted with her think a week ago it was still D1. Not sure how many times its changed but started with an 08/31 build, then 08/27. As far as i know shes still not built yet.

I still think its completely bogus the tracker isnt available for canadians. Lol ram chat to this day still says my truck/vin dosent exist

It was a data collection effort to attempt to ascertain what features or other factors might influence build / delivery times. And to give a general idea of what a new order might entail.

You're correct, the data comes from us, so it is not of direct benefit to the individual as you already know the information before the spread sheet. It is to "crack the stock market" on the ordering process.

How’s that going? Any conclusions?

I might add that when ODS started the spreadsheet VOTS was not available. Had Stellantis reintroduced VOTS at the beginning of the '22 production cycle, he probably would not have seen a reason to create it.

Maybe VOTS or a form of it does still exist but is only available to dealers. It would be an option if the site was shutdown due to complaints of inaccuracies. It would also explain how the dealers seem to know details otherwise not available.

Overall it was a time to make sense of the lack of transparency and communication from the manufacturer. I have done this at the request of another forum member couple of posts to calculate the average time of the different stages of the build, with models and cab styles.

The tracker now has some details and better visibility but not everything.

I do think there is still some usefulness in the power of numbers and metrics as a way to peek into the machine/behind the curtain, lastly applying the applicable averages

It helped clear up some misconceptions such as about how vins were assigned along with how vehicles are staged for production.

There was some thought that vins were assigned consecutively and went down the assembly line in that order. The spreadsheet helped prove that neither was true.

Alright Folks, here we go on weekly update ;-), Apologies for the delay
Happy to see some movement on the Build of last year is almost all caught up (7 out of 960 pending, 99.3% complete) 5 Pending Delivery and 2 Pending build (55 canceled orders also play a part in the overall situation)
(942 (924 already delivered + 14 pending delivery + 4 Pending build) is a more realistic number for 2021)

Overall numbers from last week (Pretty good week) with overall completion rates
5 more orders added
13 Built - Overall 97.8% complete total (currently sitting at 34 units left to build) - Rome wasn't built in a day ;-) - Less than 50 units left to build overall, potentially less because of discrepancies from other quarters - Actual sheet analysis shows only 26 orders left to build.
6 Delivered - Overall 78.3% complete total (currently sitting at 330 units left to deliver) -71 total canceled orders - this week it was mostly organic movement overall. @brv10 did his thing as usual. - - Actual sheet analysis shows only 297 orders left to deliver.

More metrics/analysis for the data freaks (completion rates with qtys pending)
2021 - (7 out of 961 pending Build, 99.3% complete), delivery is at 97.3% (26 out of 961 waiting for shipping) - 26 is an amazing number, even more amazing, is 55 orders are canceled overall, some show delivered others don't.
Q2-May and June of 2021 are 100% built, delivery is at 98.0% (4 out of 198 waiting for shipping) - the 4 that are not shipped are canceled ordered - 15 total canceled orders- we can now count Q2 2021 100% completed
Q3-July, Aug, and Sep of 2021 are almost 100% FULLY Built, and delivery is at 98.7% (5 out of 375 waiting for shipping) - 15 orders are canceled so the Build and delivery are much closer than shown - we can now count Q3 2021 100% completed - there are only 2 units left to deliver 1 fleet and 1 Canadian
Q4-Oct, Nov, and Dec of 2021 Build is at 98.2% (7 out of 388 pending), Delivery started to rear its ugly head (but its almost there), is at 95.6% (17 out of 388 waiting for shipping) - 25 orders are canceled so the Build and delivery is much closer than shown - should put build at 100% as well and delivery even more complete - Deeper analysis shows 2 orders left to build and 5 left to deliver out of 387 this is very close to completion

2022 - (27 out of 559 pending Build, 95.2% complete), delivery is at 45.8% (303 out of 559 waiting for shipping) - 16 Canceled Orders -
Q1-Jan, Feb, and March of 2022, Build is at 99.3% (3 out of 419 pending), Delivery continues with challenges, 54.4% (191 out of 419 waiting for shipping) - 12 orders are canceled so the Build and delivery is much closer than shown - There is only 1 order left to build
Q2-April, May, and June of 2022, Build is at 89% (14 out of 127 pending), Delivery is at 22% (99 out of 127 waiting for shipping) - 4 orders are canceled so the Build and delivery is much closer than shown
Q3-July, Aug of 2022, Build is at 23% (10 out of 13 pending), Delivery is at 0% (13 out of 13 waiting for shipping)

Let me know if any other metrics should/could be evaluated., Red comments are changes in numbers/counts, Green comments are general comments. Yellow comments are unedited/updated and passed on from the last post. White and no change from last week.

Some positive movement this week and little by little getting closer to the finish line. If the production line does get reset in October we have a date no 10/29/22 is the drop-dead date. There are 55 total days of production left. so overall I think the timing is still in play and that MY22 completion is still feasible. We are at 34 on the sheet left to build even at 10 units a week, it's feasible to be complete at this rate.

Thank you for the lift again @brv10 and @OfficerDirtySanchez
