2023 HD 2500 Order Guides with Pricing

Yes, from everything I have heard this doesn't effect or have any negative impact on 2022 orders. They just don't have it nailed down on what commodities they have available for 2023. I don't have any solid information on when 2023 orders will open, but I would assume within the next 30 days. Whether we get a small window to order at the end of this month or the opportunity to order at this time next month when the September allocation opens up.
Not surprised at all. With all the variables, it may push the MY23 October start date. Would also not be surprised if the order guide also has a few changes when the ordering actually starts. Interested in the Rebel trim or option when it does get added. Thanks for the update.

It looks like the wired tow-mode camera (XH7) is being restricted to Longhorn and Limited trims. Argh!

The trailer surround view camera system (XN1) is available on all trims, and would be better in some ways, but I feel like the tow-mode camera would be better for driving and good enough when backing up. (It's certainly better than no camera, which is what I have now.)

So I got this email that the 2023 TRX order banks are open. Does that mean the 2023 2500 order banks are open? Hmm

No real connection. For MY 2020 the HD order banks opened 4 months after the 1500.

Yep. Just verified, only the 1500 order banks are open. Boooo.

Certainly not a need, I’ve spent many years backing trailers both short and long, but I don’t “need” air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, a crap ton of cameras, or leather seats either. They sure make for an nicer/easier experience though. Unless you’re buying a stripped down Tradesman with vinyl seats the “it’s better with less stuff” argument isn’t valid.

It’ll also make it far easier for my 5’2 wife to back the trailer.
They don’t make leather seats anymore! Just 19k for “leather trim” lol

They definitely do still make leather seats. the Limited and Longhorn have full-leather seats, not just trimmed, and even have leather on the doors.

Just curious, does anyone think the order guides will change between now and when the orders open? Does that usually happen? @zach@granger

There are monthly updates to order guides typically. Very minor things change each month. It may not happen this first month because ordering didn't open

Thanks, Zack, for posting the guides. Very helpful.

I do have a few questions. I did not see the Rambox XB9 delete option on the Limited. Is it still able to be deleted? I did not see the Rebel as a standalone trim or as an option for the Power Wagon? Possibly they will add this later on in the model year? I did see the new sports hood as an option on the NE editions with the Laramie and Limited. I think so, but will these fit on other trims and 2019 plus trucks if purchased by itself?

Again, appreciate the guides.
99mo, Did you ever get confirmation that there is no Ram Box Delete in the Mega Limited configuration?

Good question and good question. Short is no answer. Since the ordering has been pushed back, I have not followed up. Still, it is a major point for me and probably others when considering a 2023 Limited if they cannot be removed from the build. I don't think I missed it on the new Guide. I hope the delete option is included on any changes to the Guide when the ordering finally goes live.

The fleet buyer from my company is claiming there isn't a remove option either. Wonder if they'll make camper shell that will simply still work even given the presence of the boxes

Doesnt the 5th wheel prep require the rambox delete on the 22's? Like it isnt even an option to keep it.

I never tried a build with the 5th wheel prep when I placed my 22 order. You are correct. I built my order today with the 5th wheel prep and it removed the Ramboxes. I would think that even though the guide does not include the Rambox delete, it must still be an option when you place an order with your dealer for a 23.

Looking to order a Longhorn Limited for 2023 & still undecided between a 2500 or 3500 to pull. (Not yet purchased) 28’ Airstream. One thing I’m sure of is I want no part of painted bumpers. Call me old school, but I like my chrome! Is there a chrome bumper option for 2023 @zach@granger?

It does come standard with chrome bumpers. Body color bumpers are an option.

The order guides posted indicate the Longhorn Limited & Limited come standard with painted front & rear bumpers (MBA & MBC). Or am I misreading that?

Also what is the best way to get with you @zach@granger to discuss ordering a truck?

That has been stated before, unless the order guide is wrong. Seems chrome bumpers are not an option on the LL and Lmtd anymore. Makes me glad I have a '22 on order.

Makes me wish I would have ordered a ‘22!! May have to give Ford another look if Ram is going to limit my options when I’m paying over $80k for a pickup truck...

Does anyone have a copy of these ordering guides for MY 2019 2500s? Would be curious to compare to that (since that’s what my truck is) and figure out what the actual wholesale price on my truck would have been

Ty
