2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Or an improperly installed plug in the bulkhead.
I thought that too. The only thing is I backed the truck in the driveway which is pretty steeply sloped and it was parked nose down. There’s no telling. Water has a mind of its own, and will siphon its way in to anything. Just glad this happed now and not 2,000 miles in to my trip in Montana on an overnight stop on my way to the west coast.

4/11 here. You seem to moving quicker than I did.
Yes, but the Shipping date TBD is disappointing. I could sit for weeks or months like others have done. Who knows.
Looking at the spreadsheet you will see 1 order from 7/26 that was built 8/19. Looks like they are now building them fast, but then we all wait on shipping.

Im waiting on my build to be scheduled. Been in “D” status for over 2 months now….hopefully it goes to D1 soon…

Ill get my truck after ive already had to winterize the RV at this point.

Current 22 model HD production through July is 153,427 units
Some rough math:

If they average 5-1/2 days per week.
Is then approximately 22 working days per month.
It has been approximately 9.5 months in this 2022 model year so far.
Roughly 209 working days.
153427units/209days = 734 units per day.

Not a huge number per day, but nothing to shake a stick at, if you factor in that they are all pretty much special-order trucks.

(I was a little bored this morning, so i decided to do some math....lol)

All these leaking
I checked all of the cab clearance lights and rear crash light. All tight and no signs of leaking in the headliner. The very top of the carpet at the firewall was wet, only on the drivers side. I’m thinking windshield, but they are going to water test and determine leak and fix, it’s all warranty, stuff happems
All these leaking comments are making me concerned about a truck it’s been sitting for three months during shipping…

No
That’s not my understanding I believe it changes the pedal to fuel ratio the difference may not be much but you’re definitely using more fuel
it just changes the signal thats all it does unless you are tuning the ECM it you will never change the fueling your understanding is wrong just read the product description…

So drove back to MD this morning and as soon as I walked through the door, Aaron saw me and came running over. Brought me to service and hooked me up with Scott at service, who took down my info and brought me over to the service desk and got me in a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee loaner. He assured me they were going to work on it right away and that it would be parked in the service bay until they figured it out where the leak was and had it fixed.

As always, MD is incredible. Not their fault it’s leaking, but you would think it was the way I was treated, which was exceptional. I was assured over and over they were going to make this right. In and out in under 30 minutes

What does the PedalMonster do?

PedalMonster is the first OBD-II connected throttle sensitivity controller for gas and diesel vehicles. In basic terms, it changes the pedal position in relation to the throttle to get rid of that mushy feel.

So it changes Pedal to throttle (fuel) ratio

So it changes Pedal to throttle (fuel) ratio
No it does not it changes the throttle sensor output reading so if you push the pedal say 50% you can have it interpret and send 100% throttle pedal position reading to the Engine. Its not changing the fueling or changing the way the fuel mapping is you are reading it wrong. The only thing it does is change how much you have to push the pedal you can get the same experience by stomping the skinny pedal…

Not going to argue with you man. There’s the water drink it or don’t…

Edit: if you’ve got a throttle that doesn’t use more fuel when more engaged let’s patent that and make bank!

It wont use more fuel than stomping the throttle will if you cant comprehend that its not worth explaining to you…

It doesnt change the fuel mappings. It does change the pedal response mappings.

It “might” cause people to use more fuel as it now is “more fun” to drive, but that is in how people drive not in the device itself.

Plenty of videos on YouTube that show how to install the pedal monster, the settings it has and explain what it does. It’s like a pedal commander but has a built in safety so your not stranded with a dead pedal if something goes wrong.
All your doing it tricking the computer, it’s not a tune for power, it’s easily removed, and doesn’t foul up warranty.
