Hey folks, 3500 limited HO. I have noticed a definite noise on the 3/4 (i think) shift that sounds like a chirp. I have had this happen years ago on another truck, but can't remember much about it.

Anyone hearing anything like this?

From what I read, it is a pretty common occurrence and no cause for concern. My Aisin does it, especially when I get a little frisky on the throttle.

2019 limited SRW, 650miles, mine does the same thing, usually 38-42 mph consistently and sometimes in other gear shifts or converter lockups. 5yr 100k warantee so im not sure I really care at all. One forum was saying that Valvoline AT4 helped quite it down. I may try it. I am planing on changing oil & diff fluids after my 1st tow, maybe a quick dump of the at pan too.

Well, glad I’m not the only one… I love this forum… do you all still have your 19 and 20? Did it shake out at some point?

I have a 2022 HO mega cab SRW

Anyone have anything come from this noise? Just rode with a service manager on my brand new 2022 HO. He heard the chirp, but thinks it’s wastegate noise from the boost….

It's nothing to worry about. I have the chirp too when getting on it hard but it's something the Aisin has been doing for years from my understanding.
