Currently drive and wheel/crawl a 2022 PW L3. I upgraded from a 2020 1500 Rebel. I drove the Rebel for a year before trading it in.
What I like about my Power Wagon over the Rebel?
Power and Torque at low RPM for days. Better crawling ratio. I have a front locker. I have a winch. Better articulation. Did I mention that I have a front locker and a solid axle? I can fit 37" tires without trimming (very little rubbing when maxed out). Better mirrors.
What did I like about the 1500 Rebel over the Power Wagon?
Better fuel economy. Smoother ride because of the front IFS. A little easier to get into at factory ride height. The rear seats in the crew cab have a flat floor which made handling tools, groceries and cargo much easier. I actually prefer the Rebel steering wheel over the 2500 because the arrows were in the correct position and everything made more sense (if I could switch them, I would). Harmon Kardon system was better in the Rebel. The 1500 cameras are all better quality and resolution than the 2500.
What similarities do both my Power Wagon and former Rebel share?
I purchased the Power Wagon L3 because I loved the 75th AE and it only became available a month after I purchased the Rebel. They both come stock with 33s. If you do not have the 75A or L3 package, you also have the same 17" wheels.
