2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Same been sitting 20 min away from me ( 3 hours to dealer) for 2 weeks and dealer just told at least 4-6 more weeks until it gets to them. I honestly dont understand how a company this large can run this way.
Logistics hubs are a nightmare right now. The ports here in Jacksonville are so jacked up... One SSL has been keeping loads in Freeport in the Bahamas then dropped 2 months of backlogged cargo on top of the current ship's worth all at once. No chassis available, drivers are sitting in line for 6 hours waiting for a driver to come back and drop off an empty that they all swarm like flies or vultures to try and grab it for themselves. Not to mention the driver shortage we had going already. Also hearing rumblings of a potential strike coming up. Everything is a mess!

Hope I got more luck than you, sorry

If I waited I would be at 4.64 right now instead of 3.99 for 6 years. Thing that bothers me most is getting another hard pull on credit if it don't arrive in time.
Fwiw Suncoast has a 60 day lock and 3.25 for that term right now. Might be worth looking at now if you're worried about your rate going up. 1 pull shouldn't make or break your credit.

Yeah we are 30-40 days from a railroad strike if I understand correctly. That is going to make this bad situation MUCH MUCH worse. I have to support the workers though they deserve better.

To my understanding, truckers are protesting in Oakland already over California's new laws re: owner operators. Word is the longshoremen here are about to strike in support. That's on top of the rail strike that's been at least delayed for now. It's going to be rough this fall/winter. Logistics issues are NOT over despite people grumbling about them being used as an excuse.

Here’s some pics of my new ride I took possession of yesterday, after a four month wait.
The dealer, I won’t mention any name, put rear mud flaps on with their typical advertising on them. Then they included the cost as a dealer installed item. I went ahead and kept them but when I got home I took their advertising placks off each flap and threw them away. I should have asked them how much they are going to pay me to advertise their business.
Well I've had the truck for a few days now and I've found some things that could have been done better. 1) The Nav system has settings to show you where fueling stations are on your trip map. There are choices to select what grade of gas you want displayed on the screen as you drive. However I can't find any selection to display diesel prices. 2) There is some blacked out chrome trim (I have a night edition truck) above the Nav screen on the dash, it's outlining the area where the 12 volt plug is, this peace of trim reflects the sun right into your face when the sun is high in the sky (minor inconevience). 3) This one is directed toward the state of Oregon, in 2018 a new privilege tax was enacted that says if you buy a new vehicle you will pay a 1/2 of 1 % tax on the sales price of the vehicle. Now they charge the dealership for this tax but they allow the dealer to recoup their money from the buyer. Sucks. All in all I'm very happy with the truck and every option I purchased. My salesman was very helpful and friendly.

Ouch! That was why I waited for it to arrive at Port Allen. Mine sat 58 days at outside vendors after being built, and then finally arrived last Thursday. It was 73 days from built to PA. Now...if it could just make the move to MD
How long has yours been at port Allen? What is the est delivery date? Mine was on a train somewhere around 7-26 but my sales guy at MD claims to have no further info. My est delivery date is 8-17. Just wondering how much longer this could drag on.

POWER WAGON for NSONOONE line 1150 finally in my hands!

Order confirmed Feb. 8th with Grainger in Iowa (super easy to work with) and picked up on 8/4/22. Almost 7 months wait but it was worth it. Already had people talking to me though window while stopped on the highway on the way home. "What spec is that truck? Never seen it before." Debadged Power Wagon in the Olive Green Pearl coat. Pic's to follow.

It’s about a 9-10 day rail trip. Mine departed Mexico at 10:30pm, July 19, arrived 6:57am on July 28, tracker showing estimated delivery to MD on August 15

Sales guy just called me and says he is seeing kzt second rail car and is guessing that 8-17 should be close give or take. Said that he doesn't expect to see it at the lot until early Sept then a few days to a week for pdi. Real bummer because our last planned camping trip is Sept 20th. Guess if it comes mid Sept, they can keep it.

Does any one know if there’s a way to just hire a transport to take the vehicle the final leg of the trip? The dealership says it just needs to be trucked from the rail yard to the dealership which is a 15 minute trip, but aren’t sure when that will happen.

That has happened a couple of times, seems like it's a liability for the trucking company or yard even though they still get paid.

By my estimates it should be at Port Allen today or tomorrow and be at MD 8/19 - 8/26

Agree totally on the diesel price thing, somebody help us! Why in my 6.7 do I need the price of gasoline.
