What did you do TO your RAM today?

What percent, matched the rears?
@762fmj, yes I matched the rear windows and as @IndyRamDRW said, it was 20%. Not too dark. When you have the back half tinted, you don’t have to go too dark in the front to make it appear darker. The fact of tinting the front windows darkens everything a bit more. I can see perfectly out of the front windows at night, which is my main concern!

You must like cleaning lots of slobber off your windows and interior, LOL. We have one mastiff and she's not getting anywhere near my truck.

Installed a Lomax tonneau cover - I couldn't get it to seal 100% at the tailgate, apparently the newer Rams will have 1-2mm of space there. Still like it a lot and this particular finish is similar to bedliner.

Pelican BX80 cargo case + universal side mount - Has a lot of potential but expensive and CS is kind of lacking (came packed with wrong carriage screws and CS kept giving me the runaround, ended up sourcing some longer carriage bolts through another company). May use ROAM in the future.

Mounted a dashcam, on the dash - Used Bullet Point base, 67D arms I carried over from my Jeep, Tackform Bar Mount (1.25"), and a Blackvue 750X Plus camera. The Ram 12V cig/plugs are the same as the current generation Jeeps, you can get a 12V adaptor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0886DNNSP) and add a switched or constant power source. I have it set to power on with the truck, no parking mode when off. There are already holes on the top console that you can enlarge (or not) if you need to pass cables through.

OK finished the ceramic coat on the truck. Went to mount the Slim Go Rhino RB20’s and HATE the gap on them. So I am going to pull off the brackets, cut out an inch on them, weld them back together so it pulls it in tighter to the body……..

OK done with that. Ended up cutting an inch out of the mounting bracket, taking the inch piece of steel and welding it on the back of the bracket for strength. WAY BETTER IMO! The third pic is the running boards before cutting an inch out and the last pic is after.

Just noticed that it appears you have a mat that the dogs are laying on? Appreciate it if you could post the details. Looks like it fits near perfectly.

Looks good. Really clean beads

Cut open the swing case today. Slid the arch forward 4.5 inches. I plastic welded the seams together on the inside, and started the first layer of fiberglass. Fits the wheelwell arch much tighter.

Was swapping in LED bulbs for my RamBoxes when I discovered the driver side box has about a 12” long crack in it. View attachment 41403
So the good news is, I got an appointment this morning. The service manager at my local dealership was AWESOME. He took one look at it, said come on into my office. He apologized I received my truck with that crack, that it should have been handled at the time of manufacturing. He ordered me a new one and I was out of there in 15 minutes!

Question here….I was programming power fold mirrors in today using the alpha obd and now my truck only will reach 75mph and nothing else. What the heck did I do to limit my truck to 75mph and how do I fix it lol…..

Changed fuel filters on my 21 2500 CTD.
Guess what? The Gorilla that used to install the filters at the factory the day they assembled my truck must have been gone that day, cuz the filter caps came off pretty easy, and went back on without any binding or creaking. I've changed a lot of 6.7 fuel filters, but this was by far the easiest. I bought my filters at Genos garage almost a year ago for around $80.00 ea
The dealer here wanted $150.00 for each filter and $150.00 for labor. I'm not young anymore (65), but i reckon at those prices I'll be doing this longer than I want to. Anyway it runs, no leaks, and I ain't broke. Leaving for a round trip from ETN to Nor-cal pulling our 5ver on the 1st of the month. All set and ready to go.
