2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Not really. It's a bighorn dually HO 4x4 night edition, 50 gallon tank, tow prep, bed prep, and a few other things. I mean it's not a limited or anything but I got it as optioned as I could. I'm honestly surprised myself. I was expecting 6 months at least

I’m super jealous. Congratulations. What dealer?

Mark dodge. I originally ordered from a local dealer to me but they wanted 92k without price protection. MD came back with 73k protected. Was a no brainer. I'll fly out and drive it back
I ordered from them too. I’ve been confirmed for over a month. Hopefully it gets scheduled soon.

If it's like an exhaust leak, there is a bulletin out for some trucks, reflash.
I found a thread on this forum from back in 2020 with lots of people complaining about it - didn’t ever see a resolution. I’ll reach out to the dealer and see if they have the service bulletin handy. Thanks @brv10

My wife was against ordering the night edition too. But I ordered it anyway. Now, I think she called the salesman and canceled the night edition before he had a chance to put it into the system .

I currently have a painted bumper on my 2019. It has rock chips everywhere. I think in the end I dodged the grenade too. We have lots of dirt roads around here too. I will be fine with a billet silver and chrome truck.

My 2019 looked like that when I traded in last week. On my 2022 I had ppf put on before I even drove it. Had ppf pit on the whole front end, front half of the hood, A pillars, the front of the roof and behind the door handles just in case our rings scratch when opening the door.

Hopefully won't be too long. I ordered 5/17 and went from confirmed to scheduled on 6/30 and I've seen others also that had about a month and a half.

I like a little chrome on the front end but didn't like that ram decided to dip the entire front end in chrome. Wish you could get a chrome bumper with paint matched grill. I went sport edition and if the bumper gets chipped up, I'll throw chrome ones on. Also hated the huge (unnecessary) upcharge of the night edition. Honestly wish I could have gotten the black front end of the tradesman. My current 1500 has chrome bumpers and even it has a few rock chips and actually started rusting on the backside, both bumpers.
yes i got the NE and painted, there is a ranch hand front bumper in my future so not too crazy, the rear will have to deal with it as it comes. but yes, entirely too much chrome and not inconspicuous at all, felt like a huge sign to be honest a flashy calling card if you will. plus you get to actually "see" how big the thing is.

Good luck man! I would imagine things are moving a bit more quickly with the new 2023 rolling out production starting October. But I could totally be wrong. Here's hoping yours is shipped asap

Thought about the boxes, but couldn't justify losing part of the bed.
this is my first full size pickup, i can see it from both perspectives. for me the extra locked storage made more sense. and for the stuff to haul i felt the bed is able to do it. i also like the built in divider to prevent things from mucking about.

i can see for the sake of volume that a bed without restrictions also has merit. all good. def twining on the exterior to the exception of the ramboxes, share pics when you get it.

Got this update today. I guess that’s the junction where maybe they head east? It’s coming to Baltimore. It’s supposed to have 15 days of rail time according to his awesomeness brv10. Which would put it at the 22nd for the train rides.

I had the RamBox on my 2014, then we bought our 5th wheel. I made it work but not the ideal set up. I really liked the RamBoxes, able to keep most of my vehicle stuff outside the truck and organized. I didn't get them on my 2021 primarily because we do a lot of travelling with the 5th wheel and being able to get a full 90 degree turn with the slider hitch. I missed having the RamBoxes so I went with the MegaCab on my 2022 order and will look into storage solutions with the extra space in the cab once I get the truck.

My 98 Ram bumpers were still looking good before it got totaled. Painted will never stand-up plus I don't need to rap it. I paid enough for my truck dont need to add more future costs. Canadian order shipped last week Laramie Mega cab loaded with Ramboxes 2500 order February 26 th. Won't see it for 5 to 6 weeks my dealer tells me
