What did you do TO your RAM today?

I asked about having ceramic tint put over the factory tent on the back door windows and back window for the same reasons stated above but they said it would not be necessary.
That's what I was thinking - but wasn't sure...just figured i could leave the rear windows untouched w/ factory tint and ceramic the fronts and windshield for UV protection and cooling factor.

similar plan here - though I'll probably just stick to the legal limit (whatever that is, i think it's 30-35%) on the front. Just need to figure out if i need a high % ceramic on the rears or if the factory tint blocks the various UVs well enough and reflects heat. I'm all about keeping the inside of my vehicles as cool as possible.

My tint guy stated that the factory tint is just for looks/privacy and offers no UV protection. I did 35 on all of the side and rear glass. It’s illegal to tint the windshield (except for adding a strip across the top), but I decided to go all in and add a “clear” 90 tint to the entire windshield. It works very well, including at night in the rain.

yea that's what i thought regarding the rear windows. 70% and higher tint is damn near hard to tell - 90% should be impossible to tell.

Appreciate the info about the rears though. Wish society as a whole would get over the window tinting taboo and drop the silliness of making it illegal. The LE safety rationale is an excuse imo.

Adding wireless Android Auto  now I can actually use the wireless charging pad too

Let me know how yours works. I have the 12" screen and the AAWireless device. When I start the truck I get a device not supported, to which I click ok and everything seems to work normal frothere. More of an annoyance, just curious if others get the same.

Truck looks great. Do you have 4 gallons of diesel in the Rotopax fuel cells?

I actually have been using it to store gas for the generator and equipment much to my own surprise. Originally intended for diesel. Also going to be painting it black.

Just had my windows tinted Monday. I went 5% over the rear doors and rear window. 20% on the front doors. And a strip across the windshield. My tint dealer will not do the whole windshield on new rams. He said there’s so many sensors in the dash that could get could wet while installing tint. Other dealers may do it but I couldn’t fault the tint company for not wanting to buy sensors.

Wow - that’s pretty dark. I’d love to see a pic.

Did 20%, no ceramic.

stupid question… how many of you have 20% where the fronts are darker than the factory on the inside looking out. They’re the same on the outside but it’s weird to me that they’re different looking on the inside. it bugs me a little but i like that it’s not too dark when I look over my shoulder and for backing up.

Been working great. I had the same thing but changed my USB mode to MTP. No more "device not supported" message

Washed it this morning before work. Have to keep the bugs off the front (white) and it has to look good pulling the camper around. Washed the Slaburu as well.

Attempted to pull the 4x4 bed stickers off just in the sun yesterday while washing and it is not as easy as it was made out to be.. tiny portions flake off and grabbing the corner just gets some of it at best.. realized it will be an hour atleast ordeal to get off and called it quits for now until I have the patience to sit there with a heat gun and some adhesive remover.. also should grow a fingernail out to help I guess :p

Just picked up my truck from Gale Banks. Monster Air intake and boost tubes installed. I had the Pedal Monster done as well. So far I'm loving it! My MPG went up by 2, which was nice.

Noticeable difference with on the freeway acceleration, didn't do much surface driving, I'll have to get the CAI and their tune when it's out in August

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

Had the truck ceramic coated. The Ram all weather floor mats came in so installed those. At 5'6" I can't wait for the running boards!
