Agreement signed with deposit. What had me worried is 1 day after deal was made I wanted to add a option and did so over the phone, salesman said he got it pushed thru which would of changed our original agreement and I didn't go back and sign a new agreement with the added option so I thought that would be the dealerships way of getting me to pay new sticker price. After I got window sticker and build sheet it was very clear the option I wanted to add never got pushed thru so I figured the original agreement is still good.

I got an email from Aaron at Mark Dodge with a picture of my Red Ryder! To the others who were shipped around the same date I hope you're getting good news about deliveries, too. I'm sorry to read here that some got their dates pushed, and I hope that clears up soon.

The sticker price on my order went up $4500. I'm probably locked in, just being paranoid.

I've thought about it many times. But, with the prices dealers are getting at MSRP or over, I figured it was just better to bite the bullet and wait. Of course interest rates climbing has put a dent into the money saved by ordering. I've gotten a little more impatient over the past 30 days as I've got a new 5th wheel sitting in a dealers lot waiting for me to pick up once I get the truck.

Many times here as well. But like you, I remembered the savings. AND I would look through lots here and not see what I wanted. I kept my last truck for 11 years (and counting) and the one before that I had for 9 years. So when I get a truck I get everything I want, nothing I don’t and being picky like this makes nothing on a lot appeal to me. Certainly not going to settle for something I don’t want at a price 20k over what I ordered. So I kept the wait game up. Some nights laying awake all pi$$ed off at the situation; I would tell myself that I just built such a BA truck that they want me to walk away so they can sell it for a marked up price and someone is going to get this fantastic rare truck. Just imagine the dealers that would want my truck on their lot because it would move so fast considering what I see (not) available around me. Three Ram dealers within 45 minutes of my house. All of them have maybe two or three HD rams on the lot. One is used, one is not a color I like, the other one is only 2WD, and every one of them is a diesel (don’t want diesel). The truck I ordered just doesn’t exist around here. And none of the dealers were willing to reach out because they’d have to buy it from a different dealer then mark it up more to me. No thanks. This stubborn idiot will wait.

Mine is setting in Port Allen, has been for a few weeks. I had a delivery date for 6/27 and yesterday it was pushed to 7/6. I emailed Sandi at MD to see why and if she could get it there quicker so I wouldn’t have to start canceling reservations that had been previously booked. She said the port is short staffed and theirs nothing she can do to speed it up.

Well that’s not fun to hear.

Truck arrived 6/17/2022. Thank you everyone who helped in this group. I unfortunately chose to not take the truck. The dealer was decent enough to give me my deposit back. I had several trips planned for April/May/June and bought a used 19 Chevy Duramax to get me by. The truck does what I need (pull a camper) for over 30 grand less. With the economy and higher interest rates, I just didn't want to take on the higher truck payments.

So if anyone wants a 2500HD Ram Laramie Gas, its at the Medford Chrysler center in Wisconsin. It's a beautiful truck inside and out. Good luck to everyone else that has trucks ordered, it's a long process that really tests your patience. I am not sure I will ever order a truck again, I would much rather shop the dealers lo. Hopefully, inventory comes back to years past. Heck, it would be better if the prices would come back to years past. lol.

I was line 1077 on the spreadsheet if anyone is interested in the build sheet or sticker.

Truck is amazingly close to mine. You got 12”, whereas I got 8.4” screen. You got static steps whereas mine are deployable, you got blind spot monitoring, I did not. You got 5th wheel prep, I did not. You got air susp, mine is off-road susp. And mine doesn’t have the Mopar bed step. And I got aux buttons, cargo camera and tow mode camera. Otherwise they are identical. 2500 Laramie, white, NE, Hemi, bucket seats, level B, 220 alt, clearance lamps, anti-slip diff. Thanks for posting.

Sorry you didn’t get yours, but it all makes sense the reasons why it didn’t work out for ya.

Well what is fixing to really suck for us is it’s drawing near to vacation week. So I’m not counting on nothing till a week after the 4th

Kind of frustrating for me, but I see others who are patient and have waited a lot more in time than I have. I had always thought as I got older I would become more patient and understanding, I guess I have but I am still frustrated a bit over my truck. Since 1994 I have ordered four Ram Cummins trucks and bought a Cummins powered unit off the lot. I turned 65 today and believe this will be my last new truck or vehicle for that matter. I hesitate sounding like a whiny beech but my truck has been built since the 16th with no shipping even planned yet. I know some other folks are in a much more exasperating position than me, but none the less, it sits on the back on my mind very prominently. Maybe I'll be in the next batch of rail shipments heading to Denver from Saltillo, that would be nice. I'm not saying anything constructive or beneficial to anyone here, but it does help to make it more palatable talking to everyone here about it, for me anyway. Good luck to us all, and thank the Lord we're not driving Fords, Chevys, Toyotas, or Nissans. I've pared back to just 8 Dodges now. I'm combining two 80s trucks into another hunting vehicle so I'll end up with seven trucks once I get my new Beauty and sell my 2012 3500.

This is what has me concerned too. Mine is scheduled to be built the week before the holiday. Nothing else has worked out for me on this journey so I'm expecting a delay in shipping due to the holiday IF my truck even gets built that week.

It has been a doozy for many. I do share some of your thoughts and passion. some truck ship right away, others get sidelined for a bit. I have seen it depend on options and then if they have to go to outside vendors its another ball of wax. There could be a staging lot for that that takes more time to process. On the Vin thread, i have made some postings on updates from the spreadsheet changes weekly and another member asked for days of processing start to finish. And all of these are from the very small insight we have of almost 1500 orders for 22 model Year. Stay Strong and positive.
