Pulled the NE wheels off and put the stock 18" Laramies with 295/70/18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs on today. Looking to run these until I figure out what I want to do with a lift and find an aftermarket wheel I like. Pictures included for those looking to increase tire size with stock wheels.

I've had the same tires since October, been a great tire.

Mine are brand new, so it may not hold up, but I'd consider them to be downright quiet for an AT tire. Just a little louder than the transforce ATs that came stock. The KO2s I had my my 1500 were way louder than these. Which is surprising considering the Baja Bosses are much more aggressive and have larger lugs that are spaced out further.
I don't know, but after 1 day and about 75 miles I'm pretty pleased so far. Added bonus - I sold the transforce ATs on Facebook marketplace today.

Jacob,
What PSI are you running? I'm at 60 all the way around right now and thinking it is probably a bit high. Especially in the back with no weight in the bed.

Probably about 65 or so at the moment. Need to air down for summer!
You're right though, they would ride a lot better with 50 or 55.

When I get around to it I will air down to 55 front, 50 back.
Last fall I aired down to 45 psi in Colorado. Didn't pass a convenient compressor until I was in panhandle of tx. Drove ok.

I am thinking to switch to these tires as the are 3pmsf rated and a ''hybrid'' tire tread design/competitor. My other top contender is the Nitto Ridge Grappler as I had it on my 1500 and loved how quiet it was and the traction on and off pavement. Except for when it rained or snowed, I found the Ridge Grapplers to slip a fair bit and strangely enough, my Toyo MT's faired about the same as the Ridge Grapplers over last winter (however mild it was). I am getting tired of the right hand pull of the Toyo MT's that are well known with them and I would not mind having the quietness of the hybrid tire but with the 3pmsf rating which I know will serve me well. Plus the reviews and capability of the Mickey Baja Boss seems fantastic.

I would buy them right now and stop looking if it weren't for one thing.. the sidewall design. I do not know why or if in person it would be better on the eyes.. but I just do not know if I like the design against the Ram body lines, weird I know. Which makes me think I should see them in person or more pictures before judging. I 100% will be getting new tires before fall. Just choosing is always difficult (but also part of the fun). In my area we see a LOT of rain and when going off road and hunting, you get in some sloppy stuff often, so no way I can step down to a regular A/T tire like AT3's or Falken's without getting a winch installed. But the Mickey seems to be the best bet for my application.

I'd be glad to take additional pictures. Just let me know what you want.
My opinion is that the sidewall is great. Its really aggressive, but not in an over the top kind of way.

Sorry to thread jack here but c urious if you have any thoughts or feedback on the AT3. Ill need new tires in the fall as well, I live in Lake Tahoe so winter performance is important to me. I dont need the off road capabilities that you do so Im leaning towards the AT3, but also considering RT. Any experience with RTs in the snow? Better or worse then Ridge Grapplers?

I have experience with the Ridge Grapplers and Toyo MT's. The AT3's from a friend are great on road and in snow. You would love them.

Appreciate it - thats what Im leaning towards. They dont have great size options in a 17 but ill figure it out. Appreciate it.

Can you take a side on picture of truck and one of the wheel and tire standing back enough to see top of fender for reference? Thanks!

Now I am preliminarily trying to track a set down.. figure that getting them sooner than later I can sell my Toyo MY's for a fair amount as they are impossible for people to find.

Well... I bit the bullet and got the last set available in what seems like Canada. 4wheel parts fathers day sale and being in the auto industry helped, but still an expensive tire.. but who am I kidding, all 37'' tires are around the $2k mark for 4. Going to sell my Toyo MT's for a pretty penny as they have become unicorns to find in Canada even before I got my set less than 10k km's ago. I am very excited to have my steering wheel stay put and truck not wander to the right all the time.. it has given me my fair share of scares (almost running off the road if you let go of the wheel for more than 3 seconds.. even with Carli stabilizer that pushes left). So stoked and they should be in before the end of this week and hopefully installed before end of next.

I just put a set of 5 of these on my Jeep. I've had them on order for 10 months through Discount Tire!
I wanted tall skinny pizza cutter style tires for it and when the 35/10/17 size came out, I jumped on them. Very aggressive looking for an all terrain and they are snowflake rated. They measure just over 34" on the Jeep. I was a little concerned about an E rated tire on the Rubicon, but so far, very pleased. Quieter than the BFG KO2s and seem to track quite a bit better. Very smooth, ride nice at 30 PSI and almost no road noise. I like 'em a lot.

I have run toyo at3 (at2 also) and currently run Toyo rt’s in 35/12.5-17 and great tire i have actually run a couple sets of rt’s. They do not pull and track arrow straight. Very quiet and good snow traction too boot. I live in Montana and see lots of snow. I personally think for a heavy truck the rt is better than the at3. Also just a tougher tire as built on the same carcass as the mt.

Awesome feedback, thank you. I tow all summer so longevity there is important as well. Have you ever been in a winter situation where you wished you had the at3 instead of rt?

I have been driving since the early 70’s so i have learned gas pedal control and speed play a bigger part then tires. At3 might have a slight advantage on ice but not enough to make me chose them for a heavy truck. I will throw another good tire out there falken at3w it holds a slight icy road advantage over the toyo at3. I had all 3 on the same vehicle, my 2018 rubicon Altho slightly different sizes 35/12.5-17 for RT, at3 was 35/11.5-17 and at3w was 255/80-17
