2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

That's what I was thinking last night after I did the last two builds on rambuild. I thought to myself " what about waiting a few months and do a 2023 build (my poor salesman would do circles). Then I looked at what the new options for 2023 would be and there will be a bunch but only a couple big changes. I don't think they (ram) are going g to do a sixth Gen til 2027 and I can't wait until then. I (God willing will be 70 yr old and they may take my license away from me by then... thanks again for the input, "keep it up,even when it's down"
Finally that's one thing I do t do I don't let my salesman see me cry...only the finance guy
Saddle up, buckle up, and enjoy the ride

what there is a limited slip diff. grrrr i dont remember reading that, or its not avail on the Big horn. like the surround cam and blind spot wasnt but was on others....

hmm it seems to be a 2500 option and not a 3500.

Yep - the “LSD” (anti-spin) is included with the Snow Chief Group, and is available on all trim levels for the 25, but not on the 35……

Unfortunately, that is not even a common denominator. We’ve all been trying to figure it out for a year, and there is only one common: there is no common. It’s just luck of the draw, star and moon alignment, and what kind of mood the foreman is in that morning
Lone STAR beer and MOONshine alignment

Don't forget Tequila, I am pretty sure tequila plays a factor. If I could get the foreman's contact info I would send him a case of his favorite whatever just to get my truck on a train. Ofcourse I'm thinking as I post this that more alcohol would probably not help those that have been waiting a heck of a lot longer than I have.

Like you said, no rhyme or reason and can drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out. Probably better just to enjoy a case of my favorite while I wait....

Heck…I’d fly down and enjoy the case with the foreman!

Yeah, I know with VW you can do it in Germany where they move the car underground from the factory and you can pick it up with 0 Miles on the odometer. Or Mercedes has the European delivery option with a trip.
RAM HD you get a 6 hour layover at the Laredo border crossing :D

The Stellantis Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant parking lot. That's alot of trucks!

One of my buddies who's pretty dialed in on all of this (and waiting for his Laramie 3500 DRW to be delivered to MD) heard there are approximately 21,000 trucks sitting at Saltillo waiting for transport. That's probably about $1B worth of inventory. You'd think Stellantis would be able to figure out a solution so that they could collect their money....

They have their money....all of those trucks are KZLD, the dealer has been invoiced and have paid for them. The dealer wants their money-their paying interest at the end of every month waiting to take delivery so they can get paid. And I WANT TO PAY THEM!!!! LOL...:D
