It won't post my build codes on this site (forum)

How did you get the train car # and what can you do with that info? thx
@brv10 is/has what one would call a "hook-up". Your Dealer and salesperson should have access to the same details as they come available. @brv10 is providing assistance on a "pro-bono" basis. He may not respond right away, however his contributions as ALWAYS spot on. And we thank him for his service and assistance to the forum
I'm trying to get my dealer to ha e this build for me. Everything I add the Snow Chief Group it reverts to 18 inch wheel and tires...
I can't get the salesman to call me back to get the GM to see what he can do ¡!

Many times this is due to availability and other restrictions they put on the build/parameters. for myself every time i added BSM (Blind spot monitoring) it removed everything else, so i will be installing it post delivery.

Welcome to the forum, one other member reported that satefy goup was no longer available as an option for 22 Model Year. If your dealer runs your build they should confirm that for you, if the system will accept your options as desired or kickback on issues. Same member decided to wait for 23 MY ordering to open before making the order as that was an important option for him. I checked it on a Big Horn (BH) and it was too much to consider adding it post delivery, personally.

The dealer told me once we get the build in, it will take 3 to 6 months to come in.
He also said he had one come in 45 days.
It seems like everyone is all over the place with the time frame. And it don't seem to matter how loaded or not the truck is. From what I'm seeing , it seems to be your location for delivery being the issue.

I'm OK with 6 months considering I have my 2019 larame 6.7 reg diesel. I don't know how the resale of the 2019 is gon a be cone then. Maybe better, maybe worse. Hopefully about the same...
I would sell it outright but I'll lose the tax savings...

Agreed, they say what may seem to stick to the wind.
I know 1677 pages is a lot to read, i did read it all as did many others.
@jeffnewman even if you go back a few you will see what we are, in terms of patterns and if you check out @OfficerDirtySanchez post on the VIN crowdsourcing post/thread you will see some patterns and exceptions.

There are no guarantees. If you are able to get all of your desired options, and your 22MY order is accepted. it should be built we speculate by October as after that the 23MY assembly line changes are put in place.

When i joined the Forum a handful of weeks back, there were still open orders from March 2021.
There is a lot of good info and details here. we have solidarity in the collective experience/ride we are all currently sharing in.

Thanks. That's kinda what I figured since my salesman went back and forth with the GM. He kept telling me that the gm couldn't get this with that and that with this. So I told him let me go home and think on it.
I went back to buildram.com and spent about six hours trying g this build and that build and changed the color from delmonico to pearl over walnut then I text the salesman back and we both had to cancel our get together and I played with the site some more and fi ally finally came up with something I could live with in color "Pearl White".
Now I'm waiting for the gm to give the go ahead with either 18 or 20 inch wheels. I want the 20 inch wheel but the snow group only comes with the 18's.
I think I can live with the 18's and add the 20's myself in a year or two...maybe three..thanks again for replys...¡¡¡

Yes we are, as we use to say back in the seventy's "keep the faith".
Thanks for the collective camaraderie ! : )

That's what I was thinking last night after I did the last two builds on rambuild. I thought to myself " what about waiting a few months and do a 2023 build (my poor salesman would do circles). Then I looked at what the new options for 2023 would be and there will be a bunch but only a couple big changes. I don't think they (ram) are going g to do a sixth Gen til 2027 and I can't wait until then. I (God willing will be 70 yr old and they may take my license away from me by then... thanks again for the input, "keep it up,even when it's down"
Finally that's one thing I do t do I don't let my salesman see me cry...only the finance guy

So with trucks coming are you planning on buying a extended warranty or rolling with the 5 year 100,000 ?
If your taking a extended warranty what’s the pro’s and con’s ? Does ether cover the Def system ?

those are some nice boys you have there.

On the forum, sometimes it seems that your message doesn't post, and it is actually processing. a page refresh would confirm that for you, could be internet speed or other factors. Be cautious about double posts.

From the images there are a few more changes than wheel size, looks like all terrain tires, interior color, mirrors/tech surround view group or the new 2023 mirrors that extend vs flipping, and LED lights.

I got the 5 yr 100000 mile with my laramie and I specified the bumper to bumper thing also.
When I took it in for a first oil change there was a recall item and the service guy told me " you want to call an Uber or do you want us take you ho e before your truck is ready in 3 days" I said "whaaat"
I whipped out my phone and pulled up the purchase agreement on ram or uconnect app and showed the service rep that I had 5 free oil changes and free rental car for two years... he went screaming to the service manager and said I was being difficult. The service manager came over to me, looked at my service agreement and said " sir, we have 2020 Dodge Challenger we can let you take home for three day or until your truck is ready. Will that be ok" I said that will be fine...
So all I can tell you is know the difference between the 5 yr 100000 mile thing and the bumper to bumper thing. They (the dealer) will try to get you to pay for any and everything, even air in your grandmother's wheelchair, if you don't know and have your agreement in hand.
They even tried to charge me 395 dollars for fuel filter changes (there's two on the fifth Gen rams and only one on the previous gens). I told them no, I'll do them myself. I paid 32 dollars for the two filters on line and took the 30 mins to do myself...the thing about the filters is the only one that was dirty was the o e under the bed. The one under the hood was just as clean as ever but I changed it anyways... Always change your fuel filters every 10,000 miles. 15 at least...
! : ) hope that helps. Filters are easy, but not gon a do the injectors myself. A lot of guys will and can, but not me.

The Snow Chief Group includes 18" Rims, which would be why the wheel package reverts when you add it.

When I bought the Power Wagon I also bought the Mopar warranty for it as well and I’ve never used it. As far as service goes I’ve took it to the dealer when I had coupons but after they ran out I just do them myself. Wife manages a 4WD shop so I have access to racks, lifts, and discounts .. I haven’t had a diesel is a while and with these new generations I didn’t know if it’d be best to buy a extra warranty or not.. I’m sure these aren’t like the old P pump motors..

Unfortunately, that is not even a common denominator. We’ve all been trying to figure it out for a year, and there is only one common: there is no common. It’s just luck of the draw, star and moon alignment, and what kind of mood the foreman is in that morning
