Hey is there a way hide menu options when scrolling. I don’t need to see stored messages, commercial settings etc?

You can hide some, but not the two you mentioned. Go into settings, then favorites. You can un-check fuel economy, trip info, trailer tow, and audio. You can’t hide speedometer, vehicle info, settings, commercial settings, or messages.
