Question does the Snow Chief Group have a higher spring rate than normal 2020 Ram 2500 CCSB 6.4s?
Although it does not state it does i have both the HD plow prep and the snow chief and the off road pkgs on my 19 cummins CCLB and it sits roughly 1” higher up front than any of my friends trucks without those packages… i have not read anything stating there are different springs my plow is 800LBS and it handles the weight greatOkay
I was thinking it was for snow plows.
so you want the snow chief pkg but you dont plow? Just being clear if thats the case you should be fine as is i believe the HD plow prep would be the reason for my front end being higher more so than the snow chief pkg… also ditch the front sway bar for better ride up frontI was thinking the Thuren 1" lift coils might really improve the ride quality for my truck think f the snow chief springs were extra stiff to support a plow.
Ah i see, you cant try the other coils but you could try other shocks aswell that may be more of an improvementI bought the truck used and it had the snow chief package.
You cant always go by those package outlines from my experienceThe Snow Chief group does not change the spring rate over stock…. It only
Includes:
That’s it…

HD plow prep is not the same as snow chief pkgI have snow plow pre. No aux switche, and no limited slip. I do have the big alt , skid plate and lamps and the Transforce tires. I think I got cheated.
