Hey brv10, when should I expect to get a build date? I’ve been checking the order tracking on the ram website, as well as on the spread sheet, but have seen nothing yet. The estimated ship date is next Thursday. Could you check on this for me?

If you're D1 the ship date is basically the build date. I think you'll actually get the build date once the truck is built.

That’s what I figured, but was wondering if there was a way to get any assurance that it’ll be built next week since it’s so close lol. Didn’t wanna get my hopes up for nothing

Hunterjoe is on it. Not sure there is any guarantees though based on some members experiences.

Mine went into framing the day of my estimated ship date (which as pointed out is your functional build date), 3 days later it was built!

I and someone else here had their ship dates come and pass. Mine moved to 6/30 and he actually moved from D1 back to D. But at least 2 builds here with near the same dates actually were built/shipped this week. Our trucks were differing type of orders, but had similarities. With the delay in shipping, lots filling up and possible June constraints, it is adding to the uncertainty of who's order is built and who's order is pushed back. Just have to sit back and wait it out. Beyond the typical saying, it is truly out of our control.
 
Trying to get an order finalized, I was told by the dealer that on limited the Level 1 group is not available anymore. Looking through the options it appears the only thing “unique” to that option is the Harmon Kardon system, all the other features can be added via other options. Is the sound system one of the big restraint items?

Harmon Kardon Amp has had some issues. And it takes up much space because of the bigger amp behind the rear seats. From what I have read, the Alpine system is very good. For me, I did not get the level 1 group and got what I needed by add-ons.

I stopped by the dealership late this morning to say hi and how is my truck coming along. The salesman checked and showed me it still shows JB. I mentioned someone had said KZLD and he called another person who confirmed JB.
Just by chance if you wouldn't mind using your magic again, the VIN is 3C63RRRL8NG318897 VON 54901664 and the last name is SAGE . Thanks, it is so great to have folks like you helping people out.

Sorry for the delay - I've been off the grid since Sunday morning. I ordered a "base model" Laramie. no Level 1,2,3. Just the basic Laramie, but with some upgrades. Here is my build sheet:-

I have two folks giving me different answers. Maybe somebody changed a letter or a number. I don't know. I just hope brv10 understands and isn't insulted by my confusion and question. I asked the damn salesman to confirm himself and he did and wasn't offended. If you're offended brv10 I apologize, you do really nice things for folks by helping out and it is very much appreciated. I am in no way questioning your competence or abilities, just trying to make my way through the Ram build mysteries. Thanks
 
Mark mine as delivered , 8 days prior to the trackers delivery date. Truck is all prepped and ready for pickup . Flying to Utah Monday and headed back to CA line 1272 I believe

I'm certainly not trying to be offended for him. Just saying we don't want to abuse his magical *powers
