2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Just put an order in yesterday...2022 ram 2500 Laramie 6.7. Dealer told me 6-12 weeks and that he likes to over estimate. High volume dealer in Iowa. I’m thinking “there is no way I’m getting this truck any time soon.” Is he crazy to think 6-12 weeks?

@OfficerDirtySanchez is on leave, so the tracker spreadsheet will be delayed. Well deserved for him!

Ram customer service folks generally never tell you a status code....what exactly did they say?

Yeah they told me that it was in the production phase that it would take 7 to 9 weeks to produce the truck
Tanner, seriously its going to be easily 5-6 month. if it shows up earlier great ! but, count on 5-6 months to arrive at your dealer. you will drive yourself crazy looking at the codes everyday.

Yeah that’s what I thought ram tells me that it’s d1 and my dealer tells me that it’s in the scheduling phase so I’m confused on which one to listen to

Ram chat changes the verbage alot. I was told several times that I was sequenced for production or that I would be entering production soon. Just use the tracker. When it hits the second bar, you are d1. Reach out to your salesman and they can give you a ship date. As others have said, plan for 5-6 months.

Ram service is getting the same information as the tracker info you posted. I just don't think they are the best at giving our details on the correct status.

Yeah, I wouldn't plan on anything prior to 12 weeks, maybe 12.

Now... talk to us about why you went with a 2500 over a 3500? The 2500 won't have very much payload with a diesel, just don't want you to be caught off guard by that. All good as long as you're going in eyes open, I am not judging, just confirming you know the drill.

Honestly, I had no need for the 1 ton and I was trying to stay on budget.
