2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yeah they told me that it was in the production phase that it would take 7 to 9 weeks to produce the truck

Tanner, you are a character. Production as in humans and robots actually physically building your vehicle.

I highly suggest you go read this thread:

Thread 'Build Status Codes - Build Sheet - MONRONEY (Window) Sticker and link to 2021 Buyer's Guides' https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?...-sticker-and-link-to-2021-buyers-guides.2518/

You've got some learnin' to do.

just called ram they said it moved into D1 as of yesterday

Tanner, my man...breathe. You ordered your truck on 4/18, so your only in on this ride for just over 5 weeks. I was lucky and went D1 2 weeks after I ordered it, then that is where I sat 9 weeks before it was finally built, and I was by far one of the extremely lucky ones! And during that 9 weeks, I was scheduled to be built on 5/2, then 5/15, then 5/18, then finally built on 5/19. You are going to get moved, shuffled, and slipped dates over and over again. RamChat is going to tell you all kinds of things, and I promise only half of it will be true. As we use to say in the Army, if you don't like it, wait 5 minutes, and it will change.

My suggestion is to go back over the last 3 months of post on this page and school up on some of the ridiculous rides people have been on, and continue to be on, waiting on their trucks. There are people on here that have been waiting since last year, and still have no truck.

Relax brother, and enjoy the ride. No amount of stress or anger will change the date your truck will finally make it to you, but will give you a bunch of gray hair, which as I have so much, I'd be more than willing to send you some...LOL!

As I have said from the get go when I joined this group" "Saddle up, buckle up, and enjoy the ride!" Pull up a chair and grab a drink...it's what works for me!

Interesting, on MSN this morning
I watched a video on YouTube about it, it’s in the experimental stage.. I guess the big factor today is all the buzz about DEF fluid and how their is no longer a supply of it coming in since Russia is the main supplier along with China

Time to start distilling my own water and collecting my cat's piss! (To make homemade DEF, just so we're all clear)

Edit: spelling of piss

Considering we already have VIN's would they change if the vehicles dont actually get built in the 2022 MY. This would affect resale value right, or would they become 22.5 like some manufacturers do sometimes. Wouldnt that also become a vin number change - Position 10: Model Year - M is 2021, N is 2022.

or would the confirmation be the actual build month and year on the door sill, it is a 2022 MY but it was built on October 22, no its not a 2023 MY.

That has been on my mind for a little while.
You will get built before the 23's start.

Still impatiently waiting for a truck ride from rail yard to dealer….it’s a 40 minute trip.

I have seen the future and it's changing rapidly

oh boy, the plot THICKENS

So, let’s see: the price of diesel is unfathomable and it’s all Putin’s fault (or the war in Ukrain) or that it’s Memorial Day weekend and fuel prices always skyrocket due to national “shortage”, there is a shortage of fuel filter and water filters for our trucks, there is a rubber shortage so tires are hard to find for 5th wheels, etc, the foreman in Saltillo is in a bad mood so decided to start throwing darts at the “to be built” board and those are the fortunate builds for the day…..and……and……and……NOW, there is a BLU DEF shortage??????? What’s next, there is an oxygen shortage and we need to slow down our breathing habits???

Quick, someone hand me a drink before there is an alcohol shortage!!

Okay, I’m done (he says with scotch in hand)!!!

My 2500 was built on 5/13 and going to the same dealer. Hopefully they are shipping them all together.

Mine was build 3/11 and going there...I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but apparently it takes A LONG TIME to get to Virginia.

Oh, I forgot…the most unfathomable: CUMMINS IS MAKING A GASOLINE ENGINE???????

Now I truly need a drink

Hope this isn’t correct on the Estimated delivery…that’ll be a month and a half at railyard for a 40 minute commute.

Adapt or die.

Honestly kinda surprised they didnt dip their toe in a little earlier.
Hate the tell Cummins, that dog won’t hunt ether. It doesn’t matter, we’re in a stranglehold with gas and diesel, the updated stomper version trucks won’t be perfected for years to come and nothing can produce enough power for a total conversion… Somebody pass that thing and stop hogging it !
