Horn beeps upon leaving truck!

2022, 2500 Big Horn.....I cannot find any way to "adjust or delete" the horn going off 3 times, everytime I leave the truck running with keys in my pocket!
Is there no cure for this?

Leave the spare key in the console.

There is a youtube video on this where a guy used his Aux switches to by pass it in that situation

You can almost shut the door, but not all the way. The horn doesn't beep then. That's what I've been doing.

Honking - chirping - 3 three horn beeps honks chirps - when I leave my vehicle - merged threads

The power fold option was taken out of the Laramie and lower trim packages in September due to the microchip shortage. Only available on Limited (and probably Longhorn) trims. That really sucks on the Laramie trim level. Those are generally pretty well equipped. It should be standard equipment...

here is the video hope this helps. I like this idea but I know not everyone has the Aux switches. Pretty much the same thing @Jimmy07 has showed in other threads via schematics
