Noise, mega cab body looks shifted, and tsbs??

Finally got my internet issues sorted out. Pics added.

Sorry for all the reflections, I was in a hurry to get these to the dealer. For reference, the phone was held against the bed.

P.S. the used car lot across the street leaves that F'ng jeep parked right where it's in my way backing my trailer because their front lot is full. Neighbor's oldest son has cancer and hasn't driven it for something like a year now.
My truck looks exactly like that, the crazy part is the bottom panel measurement on both sides from the frame are equal, so it’s like the top of the bed was pushed over to the side somehow. I’m going to get more measurements today to try and figure out what the geometry is doing there, it’s all wonky.

I spoke to my buddy who works for a body shop, he says the best bet is to just to shift the bed and split the difference since the bed doesn’t appear to be built square. That sucks to hear, but I trust him more than the dealership guys. If you find out anything different let me know!

The bed measures the same width at both the front and rear as my 2004.5 but I didn't pull a tape corner-corner to check square.

It appears to me that the cab is off maybe 1/4" and if the bed's off 1/4" that would even things out. I'll have to look again, but it seems maybe the puck holes were off a little from the puck frame mount too. Since they're further back, that would make sense.

Let us know how u and if you do solve it maybe unbolt bed and cab and try to shift to correct.

It's going into the dealer to be corrected.

There's a youtube video of a guy that did his 1500. Loosen all the cab mount bolts (8?) and use a 2x4 and bottle jack from the cab to frame to shift the cab.

Let us know if they fix

Also had the clunk going over rough road sounded like passenger rear seatbelt. I put a car seat there it hooks to the latch hooks. After strapping it down . No more noise. So it could of been rear seat??

Hi Azervos3,

I certainly understand why this would be concerning. If it would be of interest, please feel free to send over your VIN via private message and I would be happy to look into whether there are any potential TSBs to address this concern. Hope to hear from you soon!

Looks like ramcare was in that thread.

Here's a direct link the youtube video so y'all don't have to wade through the thread.

Mark @RamCares, can you get this video to the proper people in the chain of command so we can get a fix to this issue at hand? If not can you get us info on here so someone can get this video to engineering?
