CP4 recall thread (merged threads) - Y78 Jan 2022 recall campaign - Parts Available May 10 for 2020 trucks only

Got my recall yesterday done yesterday. Took 4-5hrs depending on when they actually pulled it in the shop. I have a '20 HO if that matters for the above conversation. They didn't mention any filings or existing damage so as far as i know it was just the pump kit. I am deleted so as expected, there was a few MIL's when i picked it up (and we discussed) so i reflashed in the parking lot and was off to the races. The pump is so much quieter than the CP4 that was in there. Power delivery and response seems exactly the same.
So exactly what was also included? Filters? etc.

I was booked as well, until I wasn't.

I'm not saying that your dealer won't do it for your 2019, but based upon what I was told by the dealer, 2 RamCare supervisors and what I have seen posted here/elsewhere I would double-check with your dealer as they may not have the correct info.

Hope you somehow get the fix anyway!
They used my vin and everything to get the parts on order and confirmed they were shipped

Like I said, I don’t doubt you. All I’m saying is I went through the exact same thing and apparently at some point the plug was polled and I wasn’t able to get the fix, even after I was in the system with the parts were ordered.

It will be interesting to see if it works out for you.

Are you canadian or american this may be the deciding factor im am interested to see ( this is purely speculation based on a rumor i read)

A guy on FB has a kit for his ‘19 HO sitting at the dealer (bizzare, as I can’t get one) this is the data tag on the pump.

Awesome!

Since the first new 21 pump we saw is the CP-ISB21S3, there's a theme there...

It will be interesting to see if the 20 trucks are CP-ISB20S3... OTOH I think they're likely to have just the two different pumps just because the timing cover on the 21+ are different than the 19-20.

Just received notice that parts are available just need to call dealer and have them order parts to schedule repair…

Do you know how the ISB pumps compare to CP3 pumps? It figures that people are starting to get movement on the warranty pumps now... my S&S pump just arrived.
