2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I was just told my truck will be in port on june 16th it has been ready since 3/20
My salesman told me the same . Was originally supposed to ship on 5/22 then according to the dealer it was pushed to 6/16. However, I was informed it delivered to Davisville on 5/14, dealer still shows it in Mexico tho

Well it’s been 8 weeks today since I ordered my Pearl White 2500 4x4 Longhorn. My order is still sitting at D1. I’m not that surprised in todays market but I’m sure getting antsy for some progress. I would really like to have the truck before summer is done.

Hopefully mine made the same boat but I'm skeptical, he tells me he'll reach out when things changed and not once has he let me know status changes or anything. Their lot has maybe 2 dozen vehicles with 5 sales guys he can't be that busy.

So, are there any real in incentives to financing with Chrysler instead of paying cash for the truck? I’m at the point in my life where I don’t want any bills & plan to pay cash for the truck. But if it’s worth financing it for a month or 2, then I’ll do that. Any rebates offered with financing through Chrysler?

Dave…
$1000 is what i have in my paperwork as being the incentive i'm aware of.

Same experience with my dealer.

Ram trucks are awesome. Ram’s corporate tracking & communications with regard to the delivery process leaves something to be desired…

Last week I was told by Ram Customer Service that the ETA of my new DRW truck to the dealer in Huntington, NY was supposed to be between May 17th - 24th. With the 24th being tomorrow (Tuesday), I called Ram today to make sure that delivery from the Port of Davisville to Huntington Ram on Long Island was still “on track.”

1st call to them - representative told me that my truck left the plant and was in the delivery process(?)!!!

2nd call to them 15mins later - different representative advised that the ETA for delivery to the dealership on Long Island would be by the 24th.

Let’s see what tomorrow holds, but I’m NOT optimistic!

Such BS. Ram really needs to get it together. When it comes down to it, customers are willing to wait for a quality truck to be built & delivered. However, all they really want (in my opinion) is transparent communication along the way.

NOTE: I’ve posted this before; when I ordered my truck in December 2021 I asked the dealer if I’d have the truck by May 1st. They looked at me like I had 3 heads and replied that they saw no reason why I shouldn’t receive it by the end of March. I also called Ram Customer Service after the truck was built on February 17th and they told me that I should have the truck by the end of March. HERE WE ARE ON MAY 23RD & NO TRUCK!

Hate to post back-to-back, but just in case my truck does in fact arrive this week “I too” was considering financing as opposed to paying in full for my truck. Anyone see this Memorial Day Weekend 0% financing offer Thru Chrysler Capital?

This is something special Koons does for their 6% off invoice deal. Requiring you to finance through them or lose 1% off invoice. No other dealer is likely going to see this “incentive”.

We are not walking away from this deal. We have no problem getting approved for the financing, I just don't want to pay that much a month. We need this truck because we are going to a family reunion with our camper to an area that my vehicle cannot tow it (does fine in the flatlands here, but will not do well with the big hills we will encounter). We need time to break in the engine and the towing. Things will work out, but if my husband would not have sat on his rear for so long, this all could have been done and not even an issue.
What's the difference in paying 3 months at $1,000 and saving (from your inheritance) the $3000 you would have been spending ? The interest is 630 bucks give or take...

Or walk away of your financially extending yourselves , which is seems like from your comments, not judging but not understanding your logic

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

Has anybody had their trucks delivered to their dealer without getting shipping/tracking info prior to delivery. Sitting at just over 11 weeks since build and just hoping it will show up at the dealer even though it doesn’t show shipped yet…wishful thinking

Same situation for me. 11 weeks since built and still apparently in Saltillo. Also the new Ram tracking program says no information about my order. Beyond frustrating.

My dealer told me that the last few vehicles that arrived were listed as KZLD, so they were surprised when they arrived.

Wow! Wonder if we can finance before the truck arrives?

I know! Ridiculous isn't it! And the blame lies squarely on corporate, not the dealer, or the rail companies. This truck is destined for Phoenix. There have been several members on this forum whose trucks were built after this one that were delivered to dealers in Phoenix weeks ago.

Also, we have cash buyers for the house and the car, so closing on the house will not take as long as someone who is trying to get a mortgage. Problem is his brother has to sign the purchase agreement that was overnighted to him last week. He claims he just got it today. He was told to overnight it immediately upon signing due to a time limit (our cash buyer put that in there so his brother would not sit on his rear). His brother is only getting 25% of the house sale and none of the car sale (per the will and succession), so he may be a little bitter...he doesn't know about the truck and it is none of his business.

Use the 0% for 36 mths, problem solved. First payment is prob at least a month or month and a half after truck purchase.
