Has anyone seen these before? https://www.amazon.com/WIRELESS-MAR...2148134&sprefix=no+drill+cab+l,aps,137&sr=8-5
They are no drill clearance lamps for your truck. I really dig them, as i do not trust my self nearly enough to drill my cab. My only issue is, they are not tied to the trucks wiring harness, and its a separate remote. For me, that remote is a big problem as its not tied in, and its gunna bug me. I on the fence on this, may pay a body shop todo this. Has anyone seen these, if so are there others in the market that do have it integrated into the factory wiring? Very cool concept though!

I installed mine a month ago when I picked up the truck..... Absolutely LOVE them. I mounted the remote to the dash with a little 3M Performance Tape.

One thing though ..... BE SURE to take EXTRA care when tightening the castle nuts as you can crack the lenses. Also, under NO circumstances should you use Loctite on the castle nuts. If it gets on the plastic it will degrade it and they WILL crumble wherever the Loctite interacts with the plastic. Just tighten them up, front nut first, BY HAND. The tension on the joint will prevent the nut from backing off.

Does it bother you that its not hard wired? Do you get used to it?

Aaaaaaabsolutely. Makes me kind-of crazy. But I've done a lot of research on how to build a module to integrate it into the trucks lighting system and have reached an impasse.

So, my friend, I got used to it.

They look great. One more button to push, thing to maintain isn’t for me though. Factory original for me or nothing.

I agree except that it was my ordering mistake and I REALLY wanted the feature so it was this or get divorced .... My wife was NOT on board with the idea of drilling fifteen holes in the roof of our new truck DESPITE my guarantee of success and leak-free operation. Oh she of little faith .... :D
