2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Yeah, it takes a long ass time for Us Canadians. Ordered Oct 19 (202 days ago) stayed in B*, went to D in January some time, Then D1 April 27 with shipping June 1 hopefully.
Hope you have better luck getting your order. We will be 8 months on Friday waiting. Went on RamChat with VON and was told order is BX status with no date to schedule build. Calling dealer today to find out whats going on. We placed order with Dealer in Ontario Canada.

I was stationed in Key West for nearly four years, don’t wish a CAT 5 on anyone! Evacuation for Irma was horrible, and I couldn’t imagine doing that as a civilian!

And there aren't too many ways out of Florida

My truck is still at the dealership but I downloaded the app before I take delivery and can see the information you mentioned. I did not provide any payment info to get the app. So if I can see it then I'm sure the manufacturer can. Also, I don't think you have to give any CC info for the free trials until they expire and you want to extend them.
I didn't even download the APP..... LOL

Eh, I’m not to the point yet of asking any of that.

I would not reorder though, I can tell ya that much.

I was really hoping to have a HD truck before hurricane season.
One, so it is not sitting at port Allen or in transit and gets smacked by a Cat 5.
Two, because at my work when we have named storms in the Gulf we haul our pilot boats out of the water. My new truck would come in handy, no doubt.

Shoot, being a Dec order I was hoping to have it by now for a least few camping trips hauling my 7,000lb camper before it gets too hot. In S.Texas we camp in the fall, winter, and spring. Not at all in the summer. At least I don’t. Wiffed on having the truck before summer.
Issue with reordering currently, as I just spoke with Sandi about a new order, is that some of the options like the "safety group" are unavailable. They're also saying the 22 model year orders should close any day now, so it'd be a matter of whether or not the plant will accept new orders.

So much for that 2-3 month delivery, huh?

I don't like all that stuff either but I decided rather than fight it I would embrace it. Now I will be able to start my truck from my boat while it's sitting in 110 degree heat at the ramp and have it be nice and cool when I go and get it. :D For 6 months anyway!

I was told yesterday by my dealer that 22 ordering closes in 10 days and some combinations/options were already closed out. They said that 23 ordering will open in June.
That doesn't sound correct.

Any Canadian guys have any luck contacting FCA Customer Care (Stellantis Customer Care). I've tried 4 separate times with no luck over the past 3 months. Ram Chat is for US only and directed me back to FCA.

I posted this in the vin forum by accident earlier. Quattro answered with one recommendation. Any others?

Still waiting on my 2/16 order but it seems I may need to go from that 3500 order up to a 4500/5500.

I know I have seen an overwhelming recommendation for 1-2 dealers from satisfied customers on here.

What dealer and people would you recommend I order from if I end up placing a new order for 4500/5500?

Thanks

So I reached out to Ram Chat and they confirmed that my truck was delivered to the dealer. I contacted my sales person yesterday who informed me that 18 trucks arrived at the port but they had to pick up themselves and most of the trucks were damaged, including mine. The dealer has filed a claim with ?? and is in the process of replacing my truck's damaged front and rear bumpers.

I had no luck. As soon as they realized I was in Canada they said contact my dealer I tried like 5 times. Someone here was able to get info by giving them minimal info about their address and province but that only one person I know of.

So far its been a poor experience, with promises of mid May-June delivery. Dealer also took my truck trade in at time of order, "who knows what the used market will look like when your order comes in". So here I sit. Truckless with year old reservations for camping season as well as construction work to do, where a truck is a must. Not sure how they struggle so bad with updating customers/dealers. Don't they have a department for that? lol

Last week I was told my truck was “in transit” now I’m being told it’s “in the shipping stage”. They said no dealer ETA will be provided and the status won’t change until it’s delivered. Truck has been built for 9 weeks now.

Can someone help with an update on my build? VIN 3C6UR5KL9NG291782. Ramchat changed its verbiage from "it has been scheduled for production" to "it is entering production". As usual, no dates, codes, etc.

@brv10 can probably help. But just an FYI, RamChat will never provide specific dates, codes, etc, just loose verbiage that if it were not for this group would have no idea what it meant. I'm not really sure they even know what they are talking about. Whenever the verbiage changes, that is when I usually reach out to the dealer and request an updated code

In transit and in shipping stage are the same. Mine is also there. Yeaterday, Ram Chat provided me a delivery window...which I believe is relatively accurate. Mine is 2-3 days from reaching the final rail yard.
