Did you by chance use the pickup checklist in this forum?

If I placed an order on 4/12 for a Limted HO 3500, after seeing all the deals people have gotten from MD. Would it be worth cancelling the order from my local dealership and going through MD. Mine charged me MSRP + tax, title, & license. Any thoughts or input from those who cancelled an order, or those who ordered from MD? Were you paying less than MSRP and how much less?

I cancelled my order and re-ordered through Bill Luke, and got me $8k under MSRP and my local dealer didn't even attempt to offer anything lower than MSRP even after showing them the quote from Bill Luke. Hope my truck doesn't get pushed back by too much by re-ordering.
 
My first post here and only because I am getting frustrated with my stealership. I haven't been getting much communication from them at all. I text the salesman once a month asking for updates and he says nothing yet. " Don't worry, I check twice a day 7 days a week" and yet this time apparently it went to d1 but no estimated ship date or anything apparently. I guess I'm just curious if maybe I expect too much and this is normal or of my guy is just a poor salesman. From the beginning I had to take control of his computer to actually order the truck since he couldn't figure out how to do it. Can anybody give me any information? Like a lot of people in here I have trips planned this summer/fall that I'm hoping to have the truck for some of them but I'm getting more and more skeptical.

I am now wishing I had found this forum beforehand and knew about the other dealerships out there like mark Dodge. I would have went that route in a heartbeat.

I could be wrong, but if you went D1 then there should be an estimated ship date. your truck should be built around that date. Mine was pretty close. I ordered 2/23/22 with an estimated ship date of 5/5/22. EL on 5/6/22 and Window Sticker today. got the estimated ship date from Mark Dodge but between Ramchat (which I hammer 2-3 times a week, ha) and this site it is pretty easy to track and get info yourself.
 
Yeah I read on another post that there should be an estimated ship date but the dealer said he had no other information to report which seemed strange to me. I haven't tried the ramchat route yet since I thought that they just gave very generic answers with little information. I can try that route tomorrow though and see if they can give me more information.

I just went thru a very similar situation. My original dealer was Gainesville and re order thru koons.

Ramchat will give you a form answer but you can bring that here and find more info from that answer.

Is there a way to lock it while running? On my 2006 I lock it with the second remote and my dads 2015(?) 1500 he locked it with the metal key in the remote
 
Hi just wondering why Canadian orders can't be seen like the US orders? I Added my VIN to the order tracking and it doesn't show anything. Ordered Feb 15th

Once you add the VIN, you need to obtain status to provide ODS. He can't see status and relies on you. He does check for Equipment Listings and Window Stickers whenever he gets a chance. Your Equipment Listing populates after your truck has been built and the window sticker after the truck has been released by the factory.
