I was reaching the point where I was just going to order and wait until the end of summer and this truck I'm waiting for popped up on Rams website. It had almost everything I wanted so I jumped at it.

I have a bit of a drive to pick it up once it lands, I'm in Cambridge. The drive to Ajax will suck going through Toronto, but the drive home will be all smiles, lol.

Do you remember when Renae gave you the build date? I mean how much in advance of 4/9? Or did you get the build date after it was already built? I mean is it a planned date they can give you ahead of time or do they just tell you the build date after it was built. I also purchased from Renae at Mark Dodge and she tells me she is waiting on a build date. She said she would contact her factory rep this upcoming week and see if she can get some info on a potential build date. Thanks again

I ordered with Sandi 4/22 and she told me to check back in with her in a week. She gave me my first D1 status on 4/21 and the sheet had an estimated ship date of 5/30 on it. Sandi seemed to be more realistic and said mid June.... I am going to sit back and wait patiently and the truck will come when it comes. It will be a long journey home with the wife.....
 
Well, finally received the good news e-mail from Aaron at MD this evening that the new truck was finally delivered and no damage.
-Ordered on 2/9/2022
-VIN Received 2/18/2022
-Built, Build Sheet and Equipment List Received on 4/2/2022
-Arrived at MD today 5/2/2022
Total of just under 12 weeks, must say very happy with the experience so far. Now just to get the OK for time off work and make the drip down and then make the drive back up to the Denver, CO area.

CCLB 2500 Limited with the L1 and NE.

jealous of all you damaged free vehicles. I heard truck was cleared to deliver to dealer today so I asked the trucking company to deliver Friday since I return then so date can't be hidden. I'll go from my flight back to base to dealer to check on the truck. hoping it's minor I won't pay 84k for a damaged truck.

KZT just means it is on the second rail. Example...the last leg of my train trip will be 7 days...then unload at the rail yard, then wait for a truck to transport. I wouldn't count on 4 days for everyone. It really depends on how long that last leg is...and how long it might sit waiting for a transport.
 
Agree, that’s how I thought if it as well. It’s supposed to be here in Denver today so hoping maybe a few more days to get to dealer but will depend. Hoping I get it by my first camping trip 5/12

The way Renea at MD explained it to me (and it seems to be correct from the past 6 months stalking this forum), is the "ship date" you get when you go D1 is the date it ships to the next stage of the process (which in this case is the build date). And it can, and probably will, change. My original ship date was 5/2, but she texted me 2 weeks ago to tell me it had slipped to 5/15. I figure if I'm lucky, 2 weeks for build and outside vendors, 2 weeks tanning in the Mexican sun waiting on a train, 10 days to Port Allen, 2 weeks basting in the Louisiana humidity, then finally to MD. That should put it home around 7/15...if I'm extremely lucky! But eventually my white, wide-hipped girl will make it home

That poor white dually in the back. That sucks.
 
So everyone getting their limited mega cab and have the standard floor mats for limited. have anyone got something for the middle back seat since it’s only for outside seats? I’m trying to find something that will blend in ok but cover the middle seat better I have a feeling one of the kids will grind in muddy shoes on that carpet

Get the factory rubber floor mats man. They’re worth the money and they cover the whole back seat floor area. Your local mopar parts counter can get them, and they offer them color match to your interior. Pretty sure they offer them for every cab configuration. You can also order them through a body shop that can get mopar parts. I loved my longhorn floor mats but they just don’t cover enough of the floor. I looked at aftermarket options but no one offered a matching brown and black just didn’t look right in the brown / light mountain brown interior. 9CE67209-2C19-42F0-9D91-55002990A1DA.jpeg
