2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I contacted RAMChat this morning and got this response.

>>
I am showing that your vehicle is in the shipping stage. My apologies, our system that provides ETA is currently down and we are unable to provide ETA and would recommend contacting back next week.
>>

Does this mean it's still waiting to get on a train, or could this also mean it's already on it's way? I asked the RAMChat person and they just told me that they can't tell where it is, which didn't help at all and made it sound like it could in fact be on it's way..

Be careful...i had an EL before mine went to the vendor for spray in bedliner...and it is listed on my EL.

I should clarify...there can be items added to the truck after the EL is populated...the vendor installed items. But, I also would agree that when it goes KZ it should be complete.
Indeed, in this case though it should be a sure thing since there is a window sticker too.

Yes to both.

Dealer had no way to track mine on the way in other than a code change indicating first and second rail. Even then that lagged behind reality by about a day.

I did get tracking help from a fellow member here that was 100% accurate and timely. Dealer was very skeptical that a mere forum member would have better info than the dealer. Lol

Thank you! I just sent an email to the dealer to see if they can get an updated code. So, trying to understand the various KZ statuses. Is first rail the train from Mexico to the US? Then 2nd is from somewhere in the US to it's final train yard where it gets unloaded?

Hello everybody, 1st post and wanted to thank everyone on this forum for the incredible information given on this site. It was because of y'all that I discovered Mark Dodge and Sandi and got a way better offer than the $500 under MSRP my local dealer was offering. And since I'm just over the border here in Conroe, TX they will even deliver the vehicle to my house and take back my Ram 1500 trade in.

Have been checking RAM Chat every other week or so and the last update before today was that they had received the order but had not started build. So today I head over there and it is now showing that "your vehicle is in the shipping stage however part of our system is down so we are not able to see if there is an ETA. It will remain in this stage until delivered to the Dealer."

Does this seem right? It has maybe been a week and half since they last told me they hadn't even started building it. I reached out to Sandi but figured it was time I stopped lurking and posted on here as well. Thanks again for all the info!

Here's what they sent me when I asked for the status code. "We no longer receive a build code. The information provided is what we receive when entering your VIN"

@brv10 any chance you can see where a truck is in the shipping process? I'm starting to sweat the date my truck gets to the dealer since I have an unexpected shoulder surgery coming up next week.

If so, thanks in advance, much appreciated.

Must have been on same delivery truck to Mark Dodge!

Mine is at Mark Dodge today!! Now to get there and picked up!

I was contemplating driving it home, but decided to have it shipped. Cost would end up about the same (flights, hotel and fuel) so it came down to a time thing.

Congrats on getting yours also. That great news.
