I can afford to pay more for the truck, but I can’t afford to sit around and let weekend after weekend pass me by without a truck in the driveway. Worked out for the best as I decided to go the route of a MegaCab and will pick it up soon.

Kudos to the guys waiting over 5 months for their truck. It’s different when you’re waiting for a truck to be built, but waiting months for a truck to travel less than 50 miles is unacceptable.

yes thats correct. dealer has been ZERO help. BG is all i get from them, they wont take the extra 30 seconds to shoot an email, or move up the ranks to management. Also was "promised" a truck to borrow (dealer took mine in on trade) to use for a couple weekends if my new order didnt come in time for camping season....well that was a lie. not to happy with my dealer.
 
Hey guys just wanted to mention make sure your INS is covering your full amount on your trucks when you leave the dealership. Mine is only a 73810$ MSRP but well worth the extra check ours was baselined at 50k even with gap wouldve been risky. Just a heads up on you guys payin 85k+

DELIVERED today!! After sitting at the truck yard for about 3 weeks, my truck was delivered to Granger today. 3500 NE SRW Mega SO Cummins

Order schedule was as follows:
Ordered 1/24
D1 2/1
Built 3/23
Delivered to Granger 4/28

I’d post the pictures I was provided, but they look like they were taken on an iPotato so I’ll wait until I get there in person to post pics. Likely picking it up early next week.
 
well talked to my dealer today with no luck. said he can't get ahold of anyone as far as brand mentors today about how damaged truck is. told him I will not pay full price for a damaged truck that lost its value before ever getting to the dealer. he stated that it will show up on the car fax as damages. how's that fair to a customer? I told him that ram.would have to eat a lot of money for the depreciation if I was to buy the truck and he said that wouldn't happen. where is the part of business that it doesn't take over a week to find out the damage extent and why am i still.wondering whats wrong with it. I've been calling ram every day emailed them as well and no updates they want 84k to over 100k check for our trucks only to piss off there customers starting to rethink this whole ram.experience sold my previous ram in 2012 for a 7.3 powerstroke and sold that to get into a 22 but ram has not convinced me they take care of there customers. which is sad I was a heavy line mechanic for Chrysler dodge jeep ram dealers before I joined the service I need this truck for my pcs move and needed it before I deploy. but I do not want a damaged truck with carfax issues off the bat. dealer has been ok with calling me.back when I leave message for an update lately but I wish I could get ahold of someone at ram who really matters and could take care.of a customer in need. 1 week with no responses from calling ram etc and email is unacceptable. sorry for my rant I know J--J order came in damaged as well. I can't afford to walk away and reorder at higher priced then I negotiated back in December. already top of my budget every penny pinched. got weathertech mats for Xmas from in laws. so very very frustrating experience. my 1st order with no tow tech group came in undamaged I should have bought that truck. 2nd order had the power fold mirrors and tow tech which I really wanted. but not sure what's going to happen now. highly doubt I will have a truck to move my camper and get my house packed and ready before I deploy now some experience.

Drove back was good but tiring. We ended up staying in Lake Charles the first night. Ended up driving around 12 hours each day. Stopped for. Couple of days around Santa Barbara to visit our daughter then back up to WA. Fancies lie-o-meter says I averaged 19.8mpg. Sweet spot for my HO SRW 3.73s was 72-78 for best mpg's.

I haven’t even filled up, fuel is so bad, I throw 20 gal in it here and there. I did two $75 run the last 24hrs and haven’t hit full yet. Joys of a 50 gal tank.

Funny about that, a week after I drove my truck home MD hit me up and asked for my insurance card. I’m reading this like “you let me drive away without checking that!”. I had added Betty to the policy just before boarding the plane to Lake Charles and my wife said she had forwarded it along, oh well.

What a joke, except it’s not funny at all.. I haven’t had an update in almost 4 weeks now. Can’t even get a current build code from dealer.
