Figured I'd share my experience with a recent level. The truck is a 2022 Ram 3500 Limited Mega Cab without factory air. I decided to run the 1.75" Thuren coils, Traxda shock extensions with factory shocks and the factory track bar.

So 95% of the time my truck is on pavement. The other 5% it is on dirt or gravel lanes. My truck is a daily driver and used to haul my 14K fifth wheel. Previously I've owned a 2015, 2018 and 2021 HD Rams and they were all leveled with Thuren coils. In the past I've used the Overland and Fox shocks offered by Thuren. With the way I use my truck, I could not really tell the difference between the Overland vs Fox.

Recently I watched a YouTube video on the PD Diesel channel about the very setup I went with and decided to go the same route.

So far I've been very happy with this setup and have had no problems. My very last truck was a 2021 Ram 3500 and I ran the .5 Thuren coils, Fox shocks, and track bar. This new truck rides the same. The goal was to level the truck and provide a softer ride and that was accomplished. When my shocks eventually wear out, I'll replace them with a shock compatible with the Thuren coils and same goes for the factory track bar.

In addition to the level I went with 17" AEV Salta wheel in Onyx and Nitto Recon Grapplers in 35x12.5R17. Super happy with this setup. The wheels seem to be excellent quality and look great on the Granite truck, appears to be the exact same color. Offset is perfect. Couple things on the tires. This is the only 35"x12.5 tire for a 17" wheel that has a 3600lbs load rating (that I could find). I wanted to stay with a 35" for towing my fifth wheel. The tires have a slight hum. Nothing too bad and with the radio on I don't hear it. They ride great, doesn't seem much different than stocks. I mention the hum because the previous A/T's I've ran (WildPeak AT3W, Nitto Terra Grapplers) did not make any extra noise. The Recon does seem to be a bit more aggressive so this is understandable.

Last thing, I installed the Airlift Ultimate Plus 5000 air bags and found no difference in ride.

Looks great.
I just finished my 3500 with the Carli 2.5 Level and 285/75 (35"/11") tires. What marks did you end up setting your castor cam adjusters to? I have mine on the line before the last setting mark to the rear. Also how much lift did you end up with compared to stock?
Mine ended up being 2" up front and 1" with the rear block not counting the extra tire height. I have about 1" rake at the rear

Have the MGM same truck in a 2500 Hemi. I just got my Thuren 3” setup in. Front and rear coils w/ Fox shock. I am currently shopping for wheels. I REALLY would like to go for a gray or black & gray finished wheel. But, I’m very hesitant because if the 2 grays don’t match, it will bug the crap out of me. I’m so glad yours match. Just for reference, these are a couple I’m considering:

For reference this is the before and after measurements. Had 3/4 tank at the time.

LF- 40 7/8 in - 42 1/8 in
LR- 42 1/8 in - 42 1/8 in
RF- 40 1/2 in - 42 3/8 in
RR- 42 3/8 in - 42 3/8 in

Have not messed with alignment yet, but will take it to my local mechanic and have it aligned to Thuren Specs.

Looks incredible! That’s exactly what I want to do with my truck, as it’s my daily and also tow a 15k fifth wheel. With the air bags on the rear and thuren 1.75 up front, how does it tow your 5er? Feel stable and maintain minimal squat?

Looks great. You have exactly the same truck I have and the same suspension build plan with one twist. I'm also looking at replacing the rear overload with the add a pack from Carli.

I am just amazed that they actually still make new Rams without A/C. What does the dash look like without the vents? or do they keep the vents? I live in South Florida so it is just mind boggling to me. I have a 2021 Ram 2500 4x4 4 door Long Bed Laramie Cummins. Pic is of my 2014 I traded in. Still miss that color on the old one.

When he said “factory air”, he meant the factory air leveling suspension..not AC lol. Nice truck!

Will be curious to know how the Carli add a pack works outs. Will you still run air bags?

Thanks!! I haven't towed yet, the first trip is in a couple weeks. I have pretty much the same setup on my 21, except it was a CCLB. It was very stable, compared to the CCSB I had before that. I attributed much of the stability to the long wheelbase. The Mega is a little bit shorter than the CCLB, but I am hoping its just as stable.

nice, do you have a before pic of the level. I'm just diving into the suspension, reading and learning.

cool, thank you

I'm still learning about all of this, first pick up, first diesel - lol not first dodge i have a 2001 durango.

I guess the level means that its a level kit, because the truck comes racked from the factory, and the rear is a little higher. while i understand why they would do this, because weight would then level the truck.

I do like the look after, thank you for the write up and for the pics.

RR- 42 3/8 in - 42 3/8 in

Have not messed with alignment yet, but will take it to my local mechanic and have it aligned to Thuren Specs.
So with fuel adding some weight to one side, looks like you gained; LF +1 1/4” RF +1 7/8”. Just over half and inch difference in side to side height, is that noticeable, surely not right?

Not noticeable. I do plan to add an SB tank in the future and wonder if it will be more noticeable. I do run airbags, but have them plumbed together. Guess if the added weight of a 52 gallon tank is actually noticeable I would consider separating the bags, but I doubt it.

So my truck is on the way finally.. do you have the factory rear air? I've been looking at the level kits and cjc off road sent me a message they only say the pin top will workwith this combo. I don't really want a 4500 level kit but ok with a 1500 or so.

I do not have factory rear air. However from what I've learned this level should still work w/ factory air. There is some adjustment to the leveling sensor and or they sell extensions. My wife has a truck on order just like mine but with factory air. I'll be doing the exact same level and can let you know how it turns out.

@his.ram can I bother you for an update now that you've been running the setup for a while? Did you ever install the shocks? And maybe measurements now that its had time to settle.

I also have a SRW 3500 w/o air but mine has ram boxes... Installing the 1.75 springs with trackbar, radius arms, sway bar, steering damper and fox 2.0 all around. Interested in your experience.

Thank you in advance.
