The darn things are persistent. I had a couple of starlings take a liking to mine last summer. I removed a BUSHEL of trash from in front of the driver side battery. Next day, another BUSHEL in there. I finally ended up moving the truck. I had robins build a nest on the ladder strapped to the back of the RV. Removed it 12 times before I gave up an took the ladder down. Bird brains are one track.
@NHOverland how is this coming along? I am going to be changing out my dual ARB in my Jeep for a York compressor setup and I am wanting to mount the ARB on my Ram. Being as I have a diesel, I can't use your engine bay mount, and I am not wanting the extra noise inside the cab with the under the seat mount. My dogs aren't found of the compressor when it kicks on in my Jeep as it is currently mounted behind my driver's seat. Gets a little noisy when it cycles on.
I looked at the rubber when I was at Lowe’s looking for mulch for my parents house, I don’t know if it was the specific brand they had but it looked wayyy to obvious to me what it was made out of. There was a bag partially torn open and upon inspection I could see the cords, tire treads, etc. I also figured it would smell like a tire fire as their mulch beds get sun from basically sun up-sun down. I ended up going with ground up cedar instaed. What’s your take on it?
I got 15 bags a week ago, it was wood.
Yea, it’s mostly tires for sure. We mulch every year if not twice a year so we decided to try the rubber mulch (4x cost supposed to last 12 years?)
I have the same experience, although it does lose some color over the years it still looks good after 8 years.
I run both front and rear bumpers from Steelcraft did my research had Frontier Gear on my 18 2500 very light and started to rust after 6 months..
We went with rubber as well, and have mixed opinions on it. It is great at keeping the weeds at bay, most likely because of the heat it generates. And - ours did hold the color well over the last 6 years. The biggest issue we have with it is that it is light weight. We have a lot of wind here and I'm constantly having to spread it back out because the wind piles it up.

Do you have the surround cameras? if so does the Grill Guard interfere with the front facing camera?
