2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

I hate that feature with a Passion on my new truck, if they would only leave it as an option to turn off. Every time I'm trying to hook my trailer on to my truck which is weekly the Dang thing is beeping at me when I shut the door
Here is a workaround to get rid of that "feature" I haven't decided if I want to go through this process or not. Would be great if they just put that in a menu!

Hey All - a question for all of those experienced with the truck order process out there. My truck progressed nicely and rapidly through the build and rail shipping phase until it reached its final rail destination 3 weeks ago. Since then, it has been total radio silence. Apparently no movement from the rail yard by truck to dealership (a 3 hour drive). Salesman claims he haven't received any updates (due to stellantis tracking being down).

My question - is this usual or should I be concerned that something has happened to the truck - damage, keys lost, etc? My biggest fear would be some sort of shipping damage that is being cosmetically fixed without my knowledge but that may mask underlying issues.

Most regions are experiencing a shortage in truck drivers and vehicle haulers. It is not unheard of to wait several weeks or even a month to get a truck moved the last phase from rail terminus or port to the dealer. Although it is unfortunate and unnerving, I wouldn’t say it is a cause for concern just yet. Keep on checking with your dealer. What was the final rail terminal and where is your dealer located?

It's not Stellantis tracking that is down, it's Dealer Connect.

Haha, the wife jokes around about some of the people who do videos that are completely awkward when it comes to doing those…and would roast me if I did one. Trust me, the videos I had to do for Speech she fried me until they were correct, and even then she said I needed more personality!

I may try, hell I know she wants to do some kind of vlog (?) on our upcoming road trip and may want to do a walkthrough of the 5er. I will definitely take some pics as I go, but a walk-through with a link to the forum thread may just be a good thing to put out there for everyone.

Thanks for the idea!

Tracking a 1500 for the parents, and it’s been awhile since I’ve had to decipher RamChat’s cryptic messages. “Scheduling phase” Is this “D”?

Thanks - final rail terminal is Mechanicville. Dealer is on the CT shoreline.

Well today is 31 weeks that is 217 days of worst experience ever and still not to dealer last update sitting in council bluffs iowa train yard since April 6. Very unexceptionable from ram and my dealer for making the experience totally the worst and pry will never do again!!!! First they made mistake forgot level 1 on my limited to no updates and won’t even offer discount to $2700 worth of wrong options $1600 alone is Camera options I never wanted I brought it up that they can take off the price and keep the kits they tell me no but I can sell them on my own wtf. Then the rep they had wouldn’t even try to fix the mistakes they made then get a new rep said owe yeah no problem as long as not in D1 so guess what 6 months in and it goes to D1 couple days pryer. I work my ass off to get to point I was able to get this truck and now want me to reorder but if I go another 8 months then I’d be 16 months and prices are way higher now then when I ordered same truck be $96k from the $91 the ordered one was and get told well at least you have affiliate pricing wtf I’m still going to pay way more then it was to be before the screw up if I didn’t like the Cummins so much I’d never buy from ram again just because of the experience this has been…. Had to vent after another sleepless night thinking about this entire experience

Hi all - I ordered a 2500 Limited from a dealer here in Texas. The vehicle was going to dealer inventory and I bought it before arrival. With Dealer Connect down, the dealer can’t tell me where it is or when it will arrive. I’m not in a bind, I’m just a bit impatient and want to get my hands on my new truck! Any of you have the ability to get tracking information on my truck? VIN = 3C6-UR5SL0NG-201192

Appreciate all the information on this site. Thanks

I keep the xtra key in my backpack that goes everywhere I go. It hangs in the back of the drivers seat. So no more 3 honks at me and the bag comes with me when the truck is parked anyways so no worries or it getting stolen.

I'm sure I probably missed it, but what tire pressure do I ask MD to put the tires at (2500)? Picking up tomorrow. Have a drive back to Oklahoma.

If it were me, I'd have them start with the recommended pressures on the door jam. That shouldn't cause any low pressure notifications. Then, adjust as you see fit when putting the truck to use.

I keep my 2500 at 65 in the front 55 in the back when not towing.

I run mine 60psi all tires no lights have ever came on definitely not picky as older trucks. My 2015 drove me crazy in winter no snow Robles here in 2022 2500

I need to adjust my rear pressure, but I keep the front at 80 as recommended in the door jam.

These rear valves are already getting on my nerves though. You’d think they’d figure this out before putting on the tires.
