About to go through this again on a Tahoe we ordered....trade in offer was $60k...even KBB instant cash offer is at $66k
I do live in a state where a private sale is allowed to offset the sales tax...which is somewhat of the exception

Sold my 2016 tradesman dually to a local high(er) end used car dealer - he's sold several Escalades that have been advertised over $110k...carmax was $42k, carvana $36k, KBB instant cash offer was $42k...I put it on FB marketplace and had several other used car dealers offer up to $44k...sold it for $44.7k to the local guy...he put $49k on it and sold it in two days...MD offered $39k

Most of the larger dealers around my area have the option on their website where you can submit your vehicle's info online (just like carmax/carvana/KBB/etc) and you'll get an offer. One of the larger dealers in the state even has a website dedicated to buying cars and that was the highest offer I received on the truck strictly from an online source

I'd try any dealer that specializes in used (diesel) trucks first then try a couple new car dealerships

I love my '06 MegaCab and the space behind the seat (including those hidden compartments), but all it's filled with is stuff I don't use. I didn't really care about a fancy Alpine or HK sound system (however, it is nice), and was kinda bummed when I saw the placement of the subwoofer and amp. Really though, I'd just throw junk in there that I won't ever look for again, so it's a good trade-off.

I'll have to get back into settings and try to figure that out. I hit the lights on last night to take a peek, noticed the Daytime Running Lamps were off the entire drive home, but never saw these things active....I'll admit I thought it was the lane assist sensor.

Oh, I did get two foam cup holders...so that was a win!

No, you will need to purchase BSM lamps and mirror glass, some harnesses, not bad but expensive

Yeah I bounced around Calgary doing the exact same. Mind me asking who honored yours? Crowfoot hooked me up - mind you they never did show me the “official” paperwork for invoice price.

They didn’t do that, was the first place I could get more than 2% off MSRP though. Managed $5365 off a PW lvl 3 package. My all in price with tax was $200 less than MSRP

You could always get that info from an insider here once your truck completes the build process. The system will show actual MSRP and Invoice price as-equipped. Not sure it’ll help at that point, but at least you’ll know if they were being honest and fair with you for future reference.

An excellent idea. Probably too late at that point yes but at least I’ll know to continue business or avoid it with this dealer in the future.

Did you push the cargo lamp button? Remember truck has to be in P, N, or R. Not D.
