2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Very welcome, please just keep it in mind for after you pick up that 3500. I would like to keep it a living document well after I get mine too, so if you can take a sec afterwards and provide a little feedback I would appreciate it.
Can do easy!!! Thanks again

Is it normal for it to take several weeks after the build to get any shipping info? Truck was built 3/7, I have been unable to get any info on shipping besides “it’s in the shipping phase with no ETA”.
Mine has been tanning in Mexico since 3/13. I am told its in shipping phase but as far as I am told it is just sitting there. A couple days ago I was told computer issues could delay any updates for another week. Theres a chance our trucks just got on a train today but they wouldn't be able to tell us until computers are back online.

Lately it seems like there is a huge backup at Saltillo. I can't believe how many trucks have been there 3-4 weeks at leasr waiting.

45 days today.

So there is this glimmer of hopeful thinking. /\
mine's been waiting since 3/5
But could things still be physically moving despite the info not moving? Asking for a friend.

make sure to check the bed camera. Mine was/is just a blue screen
Have you tried the software update? @Jimmy07 posted a download for usb update

The truck I saw came to upstate NY, someone stole the batteries so they could not move the vehicle off the train. The truck then stayed on the train and went back to Mexico where they turned it around and sent it back by rail to Saratoga NY. While on the train it moved around and hit another vehicle, what a story!!
Holy crap what a mess. How did you find out all those details about that truck? When I asked my dealer about any sort of specifics regarding the accident they claimed all they could do is speculate that tie downs (either on my truck or the one behind it) broke in transit and led to the collision but that they could never be sure because they don’t get very detailed transit information

Mine was built 2/17 and it is still has not made it to the dealership.

Thanks for the link.
Apparently mine was fixed through intimidation. Just checked last night and the camera view was blue. Went though the whole process of clearing a flash drive, formatting, downloading the file, copying it over. Headed out to the truck, turn it on, got to bed view, and the damn thing is working.

Hi all, I just put an order in for a 2500 Big horn. I wish i found this forum before i ordered but I have a question

I work for a Chrysler affiliate and got a code for the FFP pricing but thats as good as the dealer would go on price. several other dealers would not even honor that pricing and were telling me MSRP is the price. considering the current climate with these trucks and everything else going on right now, how bad did I do on the price?

FFP got me $4449 off the msrp (7% off msrp)
HB was listed at $1966

I had to go through a similar battle up in Canada. I ended up getting them to apply my FCA Promo price which is “Dealer invoice plus $25”. Most dealerships were trying to run me around but when I started getting them fighting for my business suddenly my price promo code worked. I called Stellantis Retail Incentives Canada before getting into this fight and was told that the dealer is compensated the promo difference anyways. So if they don’t play ball move on. My MSRP was $83675, paid $78310 (in Canadian pesos)

looks similar to what I got,
MSRP 67,345
Will pay/ Price assured at 62,896

Not sure how that HB number plays in or if that was negotiable. either way they were not going any lower

No I even tried a slightly lower all in offer for a truck on the lot - wasn’t quite what I wanted but was “good enough”. They wouldn’t budge so I did a factory order to get what I actually want for my hard earned money. No idea how that HB number works either. Wasn’t something I ran into.

From looking around what I understand is HB is dealer Holdback, money they get form the supplier for the sale. Im sure it was more negotiable in days past but I wonder if anyone today is getting anywhere with that today

Ram.jpgPicked it up Monday and got back yesterday after the 1,100 mile trip. Mark Dodge notified me Saturday it had arrived and they were able to get the paperwork done and have it prepped by Monday morning. Aaron and Thomas and Charles were great to work with. I had a glitch in my down payment wire given the short turnaround and they were able to help me get it all straighten out so that I was on the road by noon or so. I highly recommend them. They were very streamlined and very friendly. The only hiccup I had was in the last half hour my iphone quit working with the radio and I could play music or anything. Not sure what all went on there but I deleted the phone and upon restart all seemed good when I sync'd the phone back up.
