OCD kicking in on the last few legs, figured I'd share some terminology I've picked up while tracking my rig.

I've called CSX 3 times today and received 3 updates.

Update 1 (0800) Constructively Placed (No room in the yard?)
Update 2 (1400) No Record (whisky tango foxtrot, did they lose it?)
Update 3 (2100) Placed in Industry (I'm guessing that means its switching to another rail line?)

I'm guessing as to the meanings

I know it's been posted a couple times, but I've also seen it asked a couple times, I believe CSX deliver East of the Miss. Dealer should be able to provide railcar number once its shipped.

CSX - 1-800-235-2352, say location, say railcar letters, key in rail car numbers.

Try to call union pacific. I noticed with my truck order I had to call 2 different rail tracker numbers to get the most amount of detail.

The "no record" sounds like maybe it didn';t understand your rail number when you spoke it.

Placed in industry means it was delivered to the final destination.

I called union pacific, they rattle off a lot of info fast..I had to type the number as the automated system couldn't understand me..

Thanks for the info, tried all 3 and CSX was the only one with information. I'm in Louisville, wonder if they truck new rides up from Nashville as its 3hrs away instead of moving them by rail.
