21 4x4 2500 Limited leveling kit, wheels

Hey all from Az, ready for wheels and tires, found some Motos I like but on BO.
I could use some help on specifics.
Discount is holding 4 BF Goodrich all terrains for me, I prefer these because I always got 40,000 plus miles and quite on my last truck.

Prefer gloss black with Some dish.
What rim will work with slight plastic modifications and hard turn may rub some.
If you know the offset that would sure help.

Without knowing what size tire you're thinking to wrap around the wheels, I don't think anyone is going to be able to provide much guidance.

That said, I'd recommend scouring one of the many wheel/tire threads on here where members have posted their wheel/tire/lift/etc. specifics as well as what trimming they may have had to do.

And another great resource is the CustomWheelOffsets gallery. You can look at anything from 2014 up and compare to what you are looking at for your truck. You can also filter by size, width, offset, tire size, etc. I don't have any affiliation with the site, just like how easy they make the searching.

40K on BFG's on an HD truck?

I swore off BFG after the last two sets shredded in 20K or less (diesel, towing).

Tire Size, engine (gas or Cummins) would help.

Crap I sent this and got 2 miles away and I actually realized that to....

So I want 35x12.50 - 20", as for the site mention that is the one I been using but Discount says the rims I chose must be 1-3 offset not 24, I only want about 1-2" outside fenders. I live on a dirt road and dont want to ding the crap out of the paint.

Width of the wheel comes into play as well.

A 8.5" wide wheel with a +27mm offset would get you about flush
9" you'd probably want more like +20
10" and 12" wide, I don't think you'll have any options beyond some serious poke

No on the HD , it was my 1500 4x4 lifted GMC, its the only tire I ever used and got 40,000 out of each set (3) before I sold it, granted I only hauled my Bass Boat and SxS around Az. even with summer temps at 105 degrees plus the pavement was, well you can only guess and I never once had any issues. So that is the only experience I have to go on.

Discount is telling me I can only get away with -0 offset with 20x9 rim.. Its gets to a point you don't know who to believe. How do you measure off set. My son has a 2019 2500 Ram with a leveling kit so we are going to toss his wheels and tires on mine and see what we got, but he doesn't know the offset either.

Limited 20" wheel is 20x8, ET54.

285/65R20 on mine barely rub the radius arms, slightly more so on the driver side.

35x12.5x20 on an 8.5 or 9" wheel should be good with offset +34 or more poke, +24, +18, all good.

9" wheel with ET38 and 35x12.5 has the same backside clearance as the stock wheel. ETA: According to real world posts, +18 is probably the best safest offset.

Guys are fitting 37's on +18 offset wheels with lots of fender well trimming on level kits.

I run 35x12.50x18 0mm offset on my truck. 21 2500 6.4L Hemi with 2” level. The tires stick out a few inches and this is the most negative offset I would want. Minor plastic trimming all that was needed because of the offset.

I had two sets of them on 1/2 ton trucks and they were fantastic. Quiet, smooth, long lasting tires. So I thought I would try them on my ram 2500. Don’t do it, I have 15k on them and I’m going to need them replaced by 20k miles not to mention they are very sensitive to road conditions (rhythms, bumps etc.). My dads 19 f250 seen the same mileage out of them. We both run 35x12.50 on 20x9’s.

I’d stay away from them. There are much better options.
