2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Power Wagon Update:
Order 1/25

As of today dealer said it is still D but now has a ship date of sometime in May

For those of you picking up trucks at Mark Dodge, I can confirm that the price I secured back in October was the price I paid despite the $3K increase that showed on my sticker.

As many have noted here before, make sure you check your fuses. Every one of mine was able to be pushed in further with a slight click. Also check your tire pressures. The rears on my truck were at 79 psi and the fronts were at 69. I aired them all down to 60 psi for the drive home.

Only issue with the truck so far is the shark fin antenna on the roof is loose. I can lift it up enough to see underneath, so I need to get that checked out soon.
Anyone have their truck delivered from Mark Dodge to their house?
I supposed the people picking up from HOU airport count and could also answer this question:

What tire pressures are the trucks being delivered with? Are they driving them the “up to 250 mile delivery distance” at 90 psi?

Has anyone tracked a truck going to Detroit on railcar lately? I was curious what the path was?

Huge THANK YOU to those helping get the railcar information! Makes the wait a little more bearable.

My situation:
01/29/2022 - Ordered
03/12/2022 - D1 - Estimated ship date 04/02/2022 - which they hit right on the head
04/01/2022 - Build Sheet
04/02/2022 - Window Sticker
04/06/2022 - KZM
04/07/022 - Ciudad Frontera, MX
04/08/2022 - Piedras Negras, MX
04/09/2022 - Eagle Pass, TX
04/11/2022 - Hondo, TX

Railcar: TTGX254685
VIN: 3C6UR5DJ3NG266436

I am a little terrified that the truck will sit in Detroit for multiple weeks. It has to get over to the middle of the state to the dealer. My dealer did honor the order price. They are calling it a rebate for the $1,800 increase in the base price.

Tyler, what does the sticker on the door say the pressure should be?

So I checked the HD Order Tracking this morning and it shows KZ? 4/09/2022 on the latest status column..
What’s with the question mark ❓ means
I know KZ means released by plant , invoiced

Ram chat pulled through today... Saw a message I didnt think I would see for some time.

"Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle has completed the build process and is pending quality inspections to ensure that standards are met prior to releasing the vehicle. At Stellantis, you can be assured that we take vehicle quality seriously. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided."

I met them at the houston airport. All tires were between 80-90 psi. Def was about half and The tank was about on E, They left MD with about 180 Miles remaining per the ram app.

I drove the 5 hours to san antonio for the night without adjusting the tires. Truck was all over the road at those pressures. Set it to 65 all around the the remainig 1300ish miles home the next day. I now run them at 80 rear and 65 front, cold. I Don't feel like adjusting them everytime I am towing so I just leave it at the towing pressure

My DEF was right at half as well. I had a bit more fuel (a little over a quarter tank) since I picked-up at the dealership.

It kind of took me by surprise how much the truck jumped around going over the concrete bridges on I-10. I guess that's the price we pay for payload . . .

A lot of folks seem to get it through their dealer too. I was hoping someone has through MD. They should do it as it is a Mopar warranty. I have two quotes hopefully they'll honor the lowest quote. 8/125k
You don't need to buy it when you buy your truck from my understanding. You have 36 months bumper to bumper so you can shop around, see what you can buy it for and have the dealership match the best deal or move on.

I'm sure many of the folks here that tow RVs with a Diesel are probably aware of the TSD Open Roads Fuel Discount Program, but for any folks new to the RV world, you may want to check it out. Here's a quick overview:

https://drivinvibin.com/2021/07/27/tfs-fuel-card/

I fueled up twice on the way home from Mark Dodge. First stop outside of Lake Charles, pump price was $4.98 and the TSD discounted price was $4.27. Second stop near Meridian MS, pump price was $5.01 and the TSD price was $4.17. They do tack on a couple of bucks worth of fees for each transaction, but it's still a pretty significant savings. It saved me around $38 on my trip back.

The only real drawbacks to the program are that it only works at truck stops (have to use the truck lanes) and you have to link the card to your checking account for direct debits.

The price goes up as the miles accumulate and the prices are different from state to state depending on where you live.

I'm trying to lunp it all together with the purchase of the truck. It goes up with mileage. I've been told at 12k, 24k, and 36k mile intervals the price goes up.

I have Escapees Fuel Program, but it’s not valid everywhere. I’ve been wanting to look into TSD more, but procrastinating. Does this membership give you the card that works at the DEF pumps?

*There’s a location in Jacksonvillle that fluctuates their Escapees price (think they all ebb and flow), but this weekend it’s been 50¢ off/gal. The membership is $4/mo or $40/year.
