2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Haha this is truth.
I've kinda got a game going.
I've got a deer being mounted (been waiting on that since October 2021), I've got a suppressor waiting on paper work (been waiting since July 2021), we are in the middle of having our pool remodeled and re plastered (we are on week 11 of a 6 week estimate), and we have this truck waiting to be delivered.

I'm almost to the point of making bets with my wife and kids about which one will come to fruition first. They'll probably all happen at the same time.
A buddy of mine filed his paper form 4 9 months ago, I filed an eForm4 2.5 months ago, I ordered the truck in late December, and my sister's baby is due in September. There may or may not be $100 on the winner.

I have something similar.....

Garmin Fenix 7 ordered 1/26/2022 ("Supply Chain" issues, expected to ship to manufacturer mid-April...order still says 5-8 weeks for delivery. I call every two weeks, they push every two weeks)
Ram 3500 SRW LTD HO ordered 2/03/2022 (Ram built my canceled order, exact same build, last week) (No ETA on this one...if I go off of my 11/17/21 order timeline, I may get it by the end of July)

It is like watching water boil and paint dry side-by-side.

BTW, looking at ordering a suppressor too. I guess I need to get on it for sake of hurrying up and waiting.

Someone graciously started a thread with a checklist the other day here;

Another thing I did was I printed out my equipment list and window sticker and used that.

Two observations many have made that are worth mentioning;

1. Tire inflation - Truck ship with tires over-inflated, check that...
2. Fuses not properly seated, check that too. This could have been the culprit for issues in a couple of instances. One in particular was the amp, and noise cancellation issues. Mine were not "fully" seated across the board. I state "fully because there seems to be a "double click" behavior tot he fuses, so not sure honestly, nonetheless MD mechanics agreed, push them all the way down, the second click.
Thank you! I missed this

Well I’ve been waiting almost 7 months now for my ordered truck and I’m not sure if I’m going to try and get it and sell the 2500 limited I picked up a couple months ago. But I have 7600 miles on it in the 3 months I’ve had it and love the mega cab limited for sure I’m glad I upgraded from my 2015 Laramie but still wanting a 3500 that I ordered but it’s still not here maybe this month or beginning of May. If I decide to sell the 2022 2500 mega cab limited so Cummins air level 5th wheel prep level 1 dual alternator painted bumpers Delmonico red any one wanting to offer a deal maybe let it go here soon. The wait has been a killer for sure

Hi if anyone has time can they look into my order.3C6UR5NL6NG236900 I think I'm line 939 on the spreadsheet. I looked it up this morning and it says my order has been cancled? Kinda has me freaking out since I never cancled anything. Thank you and much appreciated.

Someone mentioned a few post ago about MD logo. Would it be bad to ask MD to not put on there logo emblem? The reason we don't want it is when we take to our local dealership for service and they see that, we may get bottom level treatment.

Or just peel it off when you get it. I believe they put it on the back window if I remember right.

How can it be worse? When truck is built, it will be at the 16 week mark, that's still not shipped to my dealer at that point. I was told 12-16 weeks to receive it when I ordered.
Well, for example it could be worse if your truck finally got built and was in transit on the ship that sank in that article. So, that is one way.

I think the logo/name on the back left window is something new they started a couple months ago.

Imagine that it'd peel off without too much intervention...I asked the guy tinting my windows to take it off and don't know if he even used a heat gun on it...

Oh ok I did not realize it was lettering on the window. That to me seems weird. I may ask them to not put on.

I will definitely tell the dealer to not put any stickers or lettering...or license plate frames on the truck. That is not the look I am going for!

It took 6 months from order date to arrival at dealership for my 22 RAM 2500 Laramie 6.4 8' bed. Ram cares and the dealership were not a lot of help. Truck sat in Baltimore 6 weeks waiting for a tractor to pull it to Pittsburgh. It was a long frustrating wait, but we really like it so far.
Did it go by boat to Baltimore or railcar? Asking as mine is on a boat now and I'm at the 9 month mark from order to delivery and would not be happy with a 6 week additional wait at the port to the dealer.

Finally arrived! Picking it up today, more pictures to follow.

12/31 order, came in on 4/4. (Sorry to you older orders for butting in line)

Wife drove buy and took the picture and emailed me. It is the granite one in the back.

I also feel guilty. I ordered my truck on 3/3, and it was built 4/1, and is supposed to be shipping out soon, dealer said I'll probably have it at the end of April.

Sounds like your dealer fibbed or gave you a best case scenario. I ordered 1-20 and Mark Dodge gave me a 20-25 week guesstimate. I am still D status with no est build date in sight. I'd trade you positions in line though :)
