I got to say after owning my truck for a few weeks I just find more and more wrong with it. I have had it parked in the garage the majority of the time because it’s spring melt here so haven’t went over it that well, haven’t even hand washed it yet! Keeping it clean in garage. But look at all the flaws already! This isn’t even all of them! The drivers side of my box side is off alignment with the cab side by more than an inch! The passenger side is fine. Truck is perfectly level and tried with truck running and off since I have the air bags, even lowered and raised, no change, you can see the box is completely level with cab window so nothing to do with the air bags. The drivers tail light sticks way out to the point that dirt is going to get all in there, passenger light is tight! Front bumper has 3 areas of dents/deformation! There is another area of the bumper not pictured, below drivers fog by air dam, has literally three ripples in it, was hard to get on camera. Just horrible! I am extremely disappointed! This truck cost me $106,000!!!!!! The stereo also keeps deleting the heated seat/wheel climate icon! After about 5 starts, hella annoying! The stereo is small and I imagine they will fix in future! The factory paint protection film on the passenger side behind the rear tires was coming off after the first day! They installed it under the fender flares, so now have to remove the whole flare to fix it! I think the flare is what caused it to come off in the first place! My box and bumper is hella bad. The box alignment by far the worst thing, it’s way off, very noticeable. All these defects I have found other Ram owners with them too! This is completely unacceptable quality in my opinion. You guys should go check your beds and see how they line up. It’s very hard to get this stuff to show up on camera, the fact you can even see it in the pictures just shows how bad it is in person! I feel extremely ripped off. I got rid of my 19 limited, so I could get the truck of my dreams, and now its a nightmare. TO even begin to fix my bed, they have to ruin ym factory spray in bedliner, because it goes over the bolts.

Quick question, did you do a PDI before you picked up the truck? I for one would of not picked up the truck unless it was noted and agreed to be fixed asap.

didnt notice it when i picked it up. To fix the bed, they would have to ruin the bedliner. It goes over the bolts. They do the PDI on their own, i looked at the truck, did a walk around. None of this stood out at the time, and I know the PPF wasnt peeling when I picked up the truck, because i noticed that this truck had PPF as my 19 never. But it was peeling the next day. Spring weather, was wet out too

The last thing I want too is for my truck to be molested by these dealers. I bought a new truck because I want it new and untouched! They can’t fix this truck without scratching it, can guarantee it. For one they will have to take knife to my bed liner and cut the bolts free. The bed liner goes over the bolts and I like it like that, no where for moisture to get into. I live in northern Canada

50% of the trucks on the lots have misaligned cab/bed, mine was off by 2". Just have the dealer fix it under warranty.

Probably one of the UC5 fixes

Well, get it fixed by the dealer. I'm sure they'll be hella helpful since you drove it off the lot without a good insepection.

Um, yea, no. The cab and bed mounts are underneath the truck.

You should have done a better PDI. This stuff happens on all makes and models and frankly only your bumper issues are cause for real concern.

P.S. you could throw your audience a bone with not so much wall of text. It's more likely someone will read my quotes than that waterfall.

This is just not true.

Again, just not the case.

Clickbait?

Also that 106k is Canadian right?

It is the case, they have already replaced my front air dam, they told me they were going to wash my truck for me and everything, well they changed the air dam on my truck when it was dirty, installing the new one over dirt, scratching the crap out of the paint! These places dont give a crap about our trucks. They never did wash my truck like promised, even asked about it, they came to me after installing the air dam, asking if they can just spray it off since they dont have time to wash it. This is all stuff they promised me because they were fixing their boo boo. I live 4 hours away from the dealer too, travelled the 4 hours one way to get this installed, was snowing/raining when i arrived to town, so had no place to clean it,

make them replace it? Are you saying a replacement light fixes this issue of the drivers tail light?

I just talked to a person who got their bed fixed and he said they had to respray his boxliner around the bolts. If that is not the case, that is awesome. But if you have any info on the tail light gap, that would be helpful! Looks like I am making the 4 hour trip again! The front bumper I am leaving as is, I dont want it repainted. Have never ever had good luck with repainting jobs, never last. My bumper is also already xpeled

The fact that I would have to deal with this many problems that are DIRECTLY from the factory is a **** show. Horrible. You act like this is the norm, that is a problem ,BECAUSE ITS not the norm with the other brands!

Why? you already started a different thread with exact same 1st entry 5 hours ago.

The bed issue is the only thing there that would bother me personally. Also easily remedied with a socket set and a bit of elbow grease and is a known issue. The ripples in the paint of the bumper is also a known issue.

All products of mass production and should be remedied easily by any competent dealer. My PW has a couple of flaws in the paint in the bed - like a couple slightly darker streaks only noticeable in the sun when the truck is clean (which is rare). It was annoying when I first found it but hey nothing in life is perfect or remains perfect for long.

Any new vehicle, if looked over carefully enough, is going to have flaws. Guaranteed.

It’s gone from here. I posted in general discussion both times.

Known issues doesn’t make them ok issues. This isn’t my first new truck. About tenth. Never have a I received such poor quality
