2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Would it be possible for someone to ck my railway? Please and thank you. :) 3C6UR5DJ9NG245722

Got word that my 2/5 order went to KZLD yesterday. Dealer says it is transit delayed and said “There's an event column in our tracking system and it says "Service Event - Paper Hanging"”. Anyone know what this means? Am I just waiting on a train? Or is this some other delay?

I've got that but didn't know what railway. PW402094

Your rail car was received and interchanged on Union Pacific this morning around 4am and is scheduled to arrive at your final rail terminal on March 31st. You can use the Union Pacific tracking system information posted above to check its progress.

Two questions...

So my truck is suppose to loaded onto the train. It's showing KZLD status but I don't see KZLD as a status code.

Also, when I put my VIN in the payload thing it says mine is a Lonestar however it is a Big Horn. Curious about that. Anxious to see how that payload number is compared to sticker on door. Oh and still no window sticker.
Lonestar are Bighorn’s sold in Texas.
Chevy does something similar with their trucks.
We’re special here in Texas.

So… I have to dig up the article, but there was a HUGE stink made by a man who ordered a Bronco last year. This guy was a longtime customer and his salesman was a friend of his. If I remember correctly, the salesman was being dodgy, so the guy goes in to get his bronco to find they tacked on a $10k dealer fee or something like that. The dude lost it, I can’t remember if there was an attorney involved, but the dude lost the Bronco and his deposit.

Found the update…

Now most here will tell you that they’ve paid pretty much what they negotiated at order. I’ve seen a few people who have reported getting into arguments, and recently we’ve seen someone lose their deposit for not going with the dealer’s financing option. If you ordered with Mark Dodge, I’d say you’re taken care of as I’ve heard several stories of customers getting taken care of even after the recent price hike in January…wow, January seems like that was just yesterday.

Ordered on 1/5 went to D1 on 2/23. How long do they usually sit in D1??

30 days is pretty common. However, take a look at the crowdsourced spreadsheet and you'll see there's a pretty wide range.

You got a better ear for this stuff. I couldn’t understand what was being said until 0700 31st.

I’m well-practiced at it, I tracked mine for 30 stops when it was on its way to me, and I’ve tracked rail cars for quite a few members here

Some of those systems don’t make it easy though. I prefer CSX’s system the best.
