2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

My truck was built on 2-23 and as far as I know is still waiting for a train ticket. Will be 4 weeks tomorrow. Dealer called last week and confirmed it was still waiting. I saw a few other people post about slow train tickets and all seem to have a Limited like mine. If some insider has better access and is able to see if it has left yet ... that would be great!

I am going against the grain here folks. It took my truck 11 weeks to be built; Dec 18 order. That was after I cancelled and changed an order from 5 weeks before that. I cancelled and changed because some options at the time of my Nov 11 order were unavailable. I reordered when they became available; and THEN for 11 weeks I fretted being called and being told that they were unavailable again. 11 long weeks all the way until I was informed my truck hit D1, and then framing, then assembly line, and finally an EL and window sticker populated on either sides of a weekend. YES! my truck exists.

That was a couple weeks ago now. I've been waiting on shipping since. But I tell ya, opposite of what a lot of guys say, this part of the wait is easier for me. I even understand there is a recall now (Z20)? But whatever, at least I know my truck is built. Yea, for sure, it will really suck if I get news about lost key fobs, or vandalism or whatever. I work in the shipping industry. I witness and expect delays as the norm. I was really hoping to have my truck by early April for a camping trip and use it to haul our camper provided I got 500 miles of break-in on the engine and trans before hauling as per the manual. But seriously, as long as MD honors the agreed price, which I am reading here they do, I'll get my truck when I get my truck. I really do hope it is sooner than later, don't get me wrong. And call me patient or too-calm or whatever, but for me the worst part of waiting was making sure that everything actually got built with all the parts considering the economy and market we are all facing and mostly while watching heavier optioned trucks get built in 1/3rd the time as mine. THAT, my friends, was frustrating

So, now my caveat here, is that the shipping was supposed to take place today 3-22, waiting on a rail assignment. I'm supposed to check in with Renae today and I'm sure that if I hear it'll be another month just sitting in Saltillo I'll start to get antsy and this will become a harder part of the wait. haha.

Good mindset to have, I'm right there with ya. It can ALWAYS be worse:

I saw a new 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in transit to my local Jeep dealer. Went in, did paperwork, trade-in, etc. A few weeks later the dealer called, the Jeep is here! I go down to get the keys and sign over my truck to them.

The dealer pulls the Jeep around, grabs the window sticker and pauses...HMM...walks in, past me, to the management team.

THEY ALMOST SOLD ME SOMEONE'S CUSTOM ORDER!!! o_O:mad:

Well put, but I’d still like to be sitting in my truck before I get discharged at the end of April.

Well I just got word my truck is in E status. for the member that told me this thank you sooo much you know who you are. Gator hope you get it before than as well. I have a small chance I may see mine before I deploy. I may get to drive it down the street for a day or so before leaving who knows. depends on how long shipping takes.

So I called the dealership this morning and they are saying that my truck is in F status which is paint is this correct does anyone know about how long the paint stage might last
1 day

Email from Sandi this morning, my 3500 dually is in trim.3C63RRJL0NG261994 Ordered 1-24-22
Looks like ours are going down the line together. Ordered the same day as you but from Granger and I was in trim as well as of yesterday. Cryptostickers says my equipment list is available but It still says unavailable when I try to pull it.

I click it and it says “No records found corresponding to the VIN provided”. I’m using my phone and it probably has something to do with clearing cache or something to that effect, of which I’m entirely too technologically challenged to figure out.
LOL yeah, because I can see your build sheet just fine! Attached.

I think it shows once it is shipped. Seeing your post, I checked mine and it is on my dealer's site. Says "18 interested", which is higher than the other 6 shown so I guess I did a good build. :)
