Is it possible to turn off the ANC? (2022 2500 Laramie Harmon Cardon)
Yes, via AlfaOBD or a bypass harness.

Did you connect bypass cable to 2022 ram?It will be fine.
The bypass cable to MX Link to Android phone over Bluetooth works perfectly on my 2022.Did you connect bypass cable to 2022 ram?
So I’ve tried hooking up alfaobd to my 2019 ram 2500. Installed bypass module (kaodtech ) and plugged in my obdlink mx. alfaobd says it’s connected to my obdlink mx but fails to connect to my body control . Any ideas? Double checked my kaodtech install and still nothing. I’m using the older mx version not the mx+ version would that matter? Does it matter where I plug the 2 plugs of the bypass into the canbus? I know they have to be plugged into the correct block but what about where in the block?I also just bought alfaobd so should have the latest version and am using a Samsung tablet Thanks
Yes mine has a white tracer on one and black tracer on the other. The white tracer is connected to the one towards the firewall the black tracer is connected to the block nearest the dash, I get a message saying no reply from interface please check that:It doesn't matter which connection in the block. Did you review the pic n post #1?
Is the firmware in the MX up to date?
Well, I gave it a shot today. No go.... Fresh alfaOBD software on a Windows 10 laptop. I bought the bypass cable, and a new OBDLink MX+ adapter. Adapter cable plugged in per the instructions and photos here on the site. The laptop sees the bluetooth adapter and pairs with it. alfa connects to the adapter, but doesn't connect to the truck. I've checked, and double checked all the wiring and connectors. No joy....Is it possible to turn off the ANC? (2022 2500 Laramie Harmon Cardon)

Anybody else have issues getting connected?
Sounds like he and I are both getting or android / Samsung devices to pair with the Bluetooth device and connect to alfaobd, we just can’t get Alfa to connect to our body controlOne thing i found, i have an iphone i use with OBD data link so when i connect to alfa with my android turd i have to make sure i turn the bluetooth off on my iphone, so just check nothing else is paired with the adapter
FINALLY!!!! After spending a few hours, and getting really frustrated, I got it to work. I had to play with the "Advanced" settings in alfaOBD. It took changing the com port setting to com 6 (at least on my laptop). Then it connected. I was able to disable the ANC, activate the gear display, disable the horn chip, and disable the fog light dropout. So for now anyway, it seems to be working great.Sounds like he and I are both getting or android / Samsung devices to pair with the Bluetooth device and connect to alfaobd, we just can’t get Alfa to connect to our body control
They have been ordering lots of amps for people it seems to fix the issue but they may still be back ordered FYI…I may have spoke too soon. The ANC doesn't seem to be disabled after all. alfa Shows the two ANC settings I could find to be disabled. I also have the mic bypass cable installed. (Which didn't change much when I installed it first before alfa).
Granted, it doesn't seem to be as bad as it was before the changes, but the droning is still there. It's worse when I first start the truck and let it idle before driving it. I'm wondering if something may be wrong with the amp. I HATE going to the dealer, but that will be my next stop. The truck has 700 miles on it.
I'm interested in knowing if this was your issue. I also have an OBDLink MX (not a +) from my 2012 Jeep Wrangler that I wanted to try and use.I ordered a new obdlink mx+, since my regular mx is over 5 years old and I never updated it. Hope that fixes my problem
@Jimmy07 might know.I recently picked up a Kaodtech cable and the Windows version of AlfaOBD in addition to the MX OBD reader I already had. So I gave it my first shot this weekend and was successful on the following:
added the current gear display
enabled the fog lamps with high beams
disabled the signature lights
I've read this whole thread, but can't find if the following is available or not via AlfaOBD. My 2014 Ram would allow you to turn on the CHML cargo lights while you were in drive and moving. This was a nice feature to use to quickly check your load in the back to make sure everything was ok. With the current truck, the CHML cargo lights are only available in P, N, or R. I've seen some references to this in different threads, but have not seen a solution. Can this be enabled via an AlfaOBD setting or am I going to have to rig up a light bar to one of my accessory switches
If I recall correctly this is a limitation in California and Mississippi (but could include more locations). The manual states it somewhere.I recently picked up a Kaodtech cable and the Windows version of AlfaOBD in addition to the MX OBD reader I already had.
