First Oil Change - Interesting Result

How long did it sit parked? Mine goes a few days sometimes
Just overnight. Drove home about 30 minutes after work and parked overnight. Truck sits with the nose on a slight uphill. Its going to start sitting a bit more now though. I got an old Grand Cherokee to commute with to save gas and miles on the truck. I've owned the truck for 8 months and it already has almost 12k on it lol

Sad when you drive a jeep to save gas ain’t it?

We bought a hemi Durango to save gas compared to the 4Runner. Went from a six to an 8. Lol.

I'm about at 8 month and 13K miles. It's my daily driver and family hauler.

And it's only 10 miles round trip to work and back. :D

Now I know why there is no oil on the shelves . It amazes me that so many people do not seem to understand how much the composition of oil has changed . Todays oil additive packages are so much more advanced than even 20 years ago . I can understand changing initial oil early but to continue to waste time and money doing later changes early is beyond me . If folks are so concerned about the condition of their oil get an analysis done and save yourself time and money.

I can assure you this is not the reason there is no oil on the shelves...

In another thread, I explained my OCI and my reasoning to help other members make their own decisions regarding oil filters and oil life with regards to OCI.
