2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

It's not even been shipped, the dealership has zero information on the truck. They have said either one I want since it's been so long.

Still nothing here yet no build sheet just a email saying it’s going to be starting build process soon yesterday same boat lost in ram world. Pushed dealer from 10 days into order to fix the mistake made me deal I had to take either way rep wouldn’t help them fix it. Get a call 2 weeks ago saying new rep said we could of fixed the order but now it’s D1 and said we can reorder how it should of been do you want to I said NO it’s been over 6 months I’m done worst experience ever. I want to see the order in person and see it through but not making decisions till it’s here but so passed yet for all the crap ram did to not make one priority for my order from start to this day!!!! I did buy a 2500 identical to what I wanted dealer to ordered just minus the 3500ho and it was ordered 2 days before my order and was at the dealer mid December with 3 of its friends sequential numbered just different colors so no way sold orders for ram was priority of any kind!!!! J-J we both had a crappy experience out of all this process. Also for not reordering now is because one the price is so much higher and I’d be going on a year since I ordered the first time if it takes another 6-8 months

That truck is a unicorn.. I won't believe it's real until I see it myself and put my hands on it. No way it should take this long. It's the worst experience ever, I will have on my YouTube channel the entire story with all the responses they have given to cover up the lost and forgotten order.

What’s the channel?

I am at the same point except the dealer actually seems to know where my truck is but at week 32 since order and still don’t have it and won’t believe it’s real until I do haha and exactly twice the Oder to delivery lead time that I was quoted (14-16 weeks) been a terrible experience overall but they tell me the pain should end any day now truck is supposedly 3.5 hrs away for the last week just waiting on it to get on a truck at the rail yard

Damn, I hope you and J-J get like some kinda complimentary service package with your delivery.

Jacksonville...FL, TX, or NC?

You gonna intercept? :D
Haha, no! I looked at two of the dealers in Jacksonville, FL (all three are owned by the same family apparently) and they quoted me $2k over MSRP, so we slept on it and reconsidered. @beckty85 caught me before we went back to a local dealer and sent me to Mark Dodge. Being from East TX, we always passed through Jacksonville there, and I attended quite a few schools and exercises on Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC.

Ha! Technically I wasn't told the state, but I'm going to assume FL since it's the final state destination. Another assumption is it's on a train sitting.

Oh Jacksonville, NC, how I don't miss thee (USMC early 2000s). Maybe if i were stationed in iwakuni or hawaii, then I'd be reminiscing.

This reminds me of when I bought my '06... that PR4 is such a beautiful color.

From everything I have seen, Mark Dodge seems to get their trucks built the fastest. Not sure if it's because they sell so damn many or their staff know all the tricks to ensure the truck order process is done correctly but if I were to start the process today, I'd go to Mark Dodge even though it's a 2000 mile drive for me to get it home. If you are in a position where you aren't worried about a shortened buying experience, go where you want but if you want a good buying experience, Mark Dodge. I"m saying this and I ordered my truck closer to home while I see trucks ordered a month or so after mine get delivered and I still don't have a build date, equip list or window sticker...

Probobly because they order them by the train load.

So, I contacted Ramchat this morning to try to get an update on my order made on 11/11/21. I've gone from D to D1 and back several times it seems now. Here's the reply I got today "Your vehicle is in the scheduling process. Typical build for most vehicles will range between 7-9 weeks depending on build location. However I am going to escalate your Case just to make sure things are progressing as expected. You will hear back in 1-2 business days via email." My dealer can't seem to get much information either. Seems like I may be one of those that has fallen into the black hole of Ram orders!

Randy, that's what they said to me I left it alone for a month without checking it was lost and never built until I started going and digging myself it was an order all of a sudden again. Don't let up or you will be in my boat with a lost order and have to reorder waiting so long the 2023 will be out before I get mine.

I'm sure I can look this up on the spreadsheet, but it's just as easy to ask. What did you order, and who did you order it from? I ordered the day after you and I'm awaiting shipping.
