Thanks for the headsup! I've been a member there for a few years now and I do see negative reviews on their own site every now and then but I don't know if those posts stay long enough or getting deleted and no idea what happens to those who post anything negative, but I've got a feeling you might be right, the admins are sort of acting like they totally would do what you said. Wish now someone told me about them before I paid my lifetime $100 fee but oh well, better now than after me shelling out $1,800 USD for their tuner with tunes.

Honestly CCS seems to be the best one i have found and i have yet to see any bad reviews, lots of very positive reviews and for the 1800$ Ish Cad efi live setup i dont see it being a bad deal, they are super quick to respond to emails and inquiries and to me that speaks volume plus id rather support a fellow canadian
100% that!!! That's why I've been talking to some members here privately and doing research on other sites, I now have a much bigger picture of what's available and what to stay away from. CCS comes out as a winner hands down!

Yeah they got popped HARD a couple years ago. I had put a fixed turbo on and still had emissions. It seemed like it was their first one.Damn PPEI is emissions on only now.

EFI Live. It's tried and true, easy to tune, and has awesome support. All tune files are saved locally on your computer or the device and is a relatively easy process switching between tuners with no extra license or vin purchases necessary.
EZ-Lynk has really cool options but as already mentioned, the cloud and the lawsuits scared me away. Downloading the EFI Live software allows you to hook up your computer and get all the PIDs you could ever want anyways. That has been fun to play with and get some logs.
Don't know much about MM3 other than it's expensive just like EZ-Lynk and based on the Smarty software.

I really enjoy my EZLynk and I too have my tunes downloaded on a couple devices so that I am not relying on the cloud. With Trudeau spending most of his time in a cloud.. the last place I want my Cummins tunes is in a cloud waiting for the wrong commie to come along. I enjoy the feature of easily switching tunes with my app on my phone and the gauges on my phone if I ever feel like seeing them. I am running Optimal Welding tunes and am seriously considering switching to CCS after all the awesome reviews on here. The honest only reason I have not yet is the 5 or 6 reviews of saying that the CCS tunes ruined a transmission or was riddled with issues. Don't get me wrong, I know there are probably the same if not 10 times that about Optimal Welding but I just have not seen it and have not experienced much of anything wrong with the 5 tunes I have on the truck. Mind you I find myself running in stock setting more and more.
I remember seeing a comment or message of how CCS feels much more ''grown up'' than Optimal and I can see how that could ring true, as Optimal on my truck sure does cycle the VGT a bit and sometimes seems a bit hyper active (but this may be a good thing?). I am sure once I finish spending the money on my RTT and couple other overlanding stuff left that I will switch, but the more I think about it, the higher on my list of priorities it gets.

I think the only people who have had issues with CCS are people who run it on race all the time or the people who never sent back the data logs for the fine tuning CCS will do after the initial tune so they are just running the generic tune
If your transmission is running fine, leave as it is, you can opt not to re-flash the transmission if you don't want to.
These transmission worries aren't applicable to me as I've got HO with AISIN.

The only thing to worry with the Aisin is defueling and torque management.
If you get harsh shifts and flare god awful under hard pedal and when towing, it's not good.

Not really as all tunes even the stock power tune is +45hp you should always tune the 68rfe but they tunes they do are really just for line pressures which is a good thing even for no added power…

One thing to remember alot of the older ccs complaints of trans issues would Be irrelevant to the 19+ As there was a lot of updating to the 19+ 68rfe and its a whole other animal from the 07.5-18 68rfe according to all the research and info i have been looking through

This. My father's 2500 absolutely loves the CCS trans tuning compared to Optimal. I get the fear though. The 68's have not-so-great reputations.

Yea thats due to the early 07.5-12ish years but it has improved greatly over the years
My point was, his 68rfe is already tuned from Optimal flash. If he likes how it goes then he doesn't need to reflash it again, transmission tune is optional extra with CCS

Good point, personally idk if i would mix tunes or is it even possible as it would be mixed in with the tune file not a separate tune file for the trans

Yes, I would 100% buy the trans tuning with the CCS tuning package. I agree that I want a cohesive package and even if it is just line pressure.. I don't like to mix and match with things this important. I am leaning further and further towards just buying CCS tomorrow. One thing I am curious about, is the after single tune revision that was talked about.. they have a standard practice of giving you tunes then you send them data logs or something then they send you new tunes? Is this how you guys had it with CCS?

For EZ-Lynk, they have an unlimited support package. So yes, send them as many logs as you want. I'll PM you the details on it.
On EFI Live I have been paying for tune modifications. However that's because I keep going up on the power levels. The one or two things I wasn't happy with, I logged, sent them in, and got revised tunes free of charge.
